How was I suppose to react to the fact that the man I just kissed could be like the rest of them! The man I'm falling for could be one of these supernatural people! My body was restless and my mind whirling with unrealistic possibilities.
I stood up and walked outside onto the balcony. I sucked in a shaky breath of cold crisp air. I looked out through the woods spotting small animals running through the forest bed. A loud snap of a branch had my eyes quickly scanning the surrounding foliage.
My eyes locked with a pair of seemingly glowing eyes. Large and golden eyes too large to be a dog. To large to be a human. The darkness covers the rest of its features leaving it shroud in mystery.
What is in the woods? What are these people? What else do I not know about this town?
Could there be more secrets that Bella refuses to tell me?
