Ryan | Skating Rink.
I almost grew to hate this damn skating rink. It's always way too crowded and someone almost always got arrested by the end of the night. Friday's were the busiest simply because it's the start of the weekend, but this shouldn't be the move EVERY WEEKEND.
I handed a twenty to the cashier in exchange for our popcorn and drinks, "Thanks Jeremy."
He did his normal head nod as Ivy and I began to skate over to the little eating booth. Everyone was vibing out to the loud music blasting through the speaker of the skating rink. Although this rink was ratchet at times, I did enjoy the sight of people having a good time.
"Girl, look at Taj's sexy ass. Ooh, he is so fine." Ivy exclaimed, pointing to a tall dark skin guy with the crooked smile. I stuffed some popcorn in my mouth before responding.
"He alright. He had braces for the past 4 years and his teeth still not straight." I said rolling my eyes. I looked back at Ivy as she mugged me.
"This is exactly why you're not gonna find a man. You focus on the physical appearance too much. Taj could be a good guy." I shrugged my shoulders and ate some more popcorn.
"You know what? You're right, but I'm not saying he's a bad guy. He's just not my type. Along with these hood niggas with all these tattoos and grills. It's just not for me."
Ivy chucked and continue on to another subject, "Lemme tell you -"
Some guy soon bumped into Ivy causing her to bump into me. Our large bucket of popcorn flew out on my hand and onto the floor. Oh hell nah. $12 for some popcorn and this shit is all over the floor.
"Well damn, Shaquille O'neal!" Ivy exclaimed as the guy picked up the bucket while laughing. I didn't see anything funny. I tucked my hair behind my ear and looked up at him, "You owe us some popcorn."
He looked at me and gave me a small smile. His arms were covered in tattoos and he had a gold piece on his bottom row of teeth. He chuckled and nodded his head, "My bad love."
He looked directly into my eyes before picking up the bucket of popcorn. I looked away before making eye contact with a smirking Ivy. I already know what she's thinking.
"A large popcorn? Ya'll got money huh?" he said jokingly. His laugh was even more perfect than his smile. I could feel my mind wandering off. Ivy walked up to the guy and rolled her eyes, "Yeah only for it to be all over the floor. We need 12 dollars boo!" I laughed at Ivy's aggressiveness and tried to grab the bucket from the guy. He frowned a little before adjust his grip.
