" What have I told you about saying the lord's name in vain ? " Kane gave a deep sigh as he ruffled his dark red hair. " To not...say it but hate to break it to you Skeet bein' religious is kinda out of the way now. " Kane huffed. " Well excuse me for wanting to still act like a saint. " Skeeter snapped her thick braid bounced against her bottom as she yanked at the gold cross around her neck. " Like I said : A total waste of time. " Kane grunted as he looked at the beheaded Geek { A/N : They will be called Geeks or Geek. } as his dirtied converses smashed against the ground. " Look Kane I understand that your still hurting over Ma and P---"
" Don't. "
A heavy growl made Skeeter jump as her little brother glared at his sister. " Don't you dare bring that up...I love you deeply Skeets but if you remind me about the one failure I made that.involved them I will hit you. " Kane wished he took those words back...but they came tumbling out like a Hurricane and Skeeter's Hazel eyes flashed with hurt. " I'm sorry I brought it up," Skeeter sadly croaked," I won't say anything else. "
Kane glanced at his older sister's hurt face and sighed deeply. " Look...I'm sorry it's just..." Kane chewed his bottom lip as he gripped his katana tightly," I'm just irritated. "
" It's fine Kane I don't blame you for being irritated. " It was silent as they walked through the empty streets of a Neighborhood. " When you gonna change ? "
" Change what ? "
" Your eyes I miss the original color. " Kane's eyes were the scarlet red but he didn't feel angry. " I don't know. " Was the only answer Kane gave Skeeter .
Suddenly Skeeter froze .
The confusion etched onto Kane's face. " What ? "
" Run. "
Kane turned and his heart dropped to his stomach hearing the loud shouts of a group . " Shit ! " The young alpha hissed as Skeeter yanked her brother along as Gunshots hit the floor.
" Get back here you little bastards ! "
" Get the girl Andrew ! "
" Shot em' down ! " Both siblings could feel their hearts pounding through their chests as they continued running.
