Chapter one

"DAD, LOOK OUT!" I screamed as our car smashed into the railing,rolling down the cliff,and into the river,smashing into everything on the way down, throwing everyone around. My head was pounding, and my heart felt like it was crawling out of my chest, the car landed front first, sending the rest of the glass into my legs and arm. I crawled out of the smoking car, I turned around, blood running down my face.The last thing I see is my moms hand sticking out from under the car. My world goes dark. I jolt up in bed and flick on my bedside lamp, breathing heavily, eyes wide. I look around my room, processing my thoughts."it was just a dream, that was four years ago." I almost always had that stupid dream, just reminding me of what I had. my alarm clock starts going off, telling me that I needed to get ready for school. Ugh, school, but it was better than staying home and thinking about the past. I slide out of bed and go to my closet. My hoodie hangs there, like it does everyday, I pull that on along with a pair of black jeans and my dark blue, torn up shoes. I walk into the bathroom and stare at my reflection in the mirror. I'm pale with dark purple bags under my eyes, freckles, and small nose. I don't bother with makeup,I don't care how people think of me, all that matters is education, and turning 18 so I can drive far away from this town that hold all my bad memories. I brush my teeth really quick and start down the stairs, my aunt slurs from the couch, "wheere are youuuu goooinng?" "School" I simply state as I grab an apple, "can't even saaay twoo wordsss to mee, little braat" she murmurs under her alcoholic breath. I close the door behind me as I walk out into the freezing wind.~le time skip, brought to you by a cat named Pepe~I'm about halfway to the highschool, when I hear her. "OH MY GOD, is that who I THINK it is?" I roll my eyes, I already know who it is by the annoying high pitched voice. Blair Wins, the most popular girl at our school. I try to walk the other direction,but she grabs my hood with her candy pink talons, and practically screams in my ear, "IT IS!, it's freak girl!" I sigh as her little evil minions giggle. "Well fancy seeing you here" she sarcastically says "oops, how clumsy of me" she laughs as she nimbly swipes my feet, making me trip, landing hard on the pavement. "Here, let me help you up" she says while yanking me up by my hood. "now move along freak, wouldn't want to be late to class, would you?" She says sweetly as she struts away with her cronies showering her with compliments on her 'takedown'. I can already tell it's going to be a long day, I get to the school, just as the bell rings. I get all of my stuff out of my locker,close it and sit down in my class. -~- another time skip brought to you by the lazy author,-~-Ever since the accident, I became emotionless, cold, I burned my feelings, and encased my heart with ice, nobody talked to me, or saw me, nobody would notice if I would be gone. "Miss Clearwater?" My teacher says bringing me out of my thoughts and back to reality. "Yeah?" I say already knowing what he was going to say. "Pay more attention unless you want a detention." A couple people snicker as I look at the clock; only ten more minutes until I can get out of here, I silently begin writing notes. Ten minutes later the bell rings and people rush out of the classroom. I stay behind to get the extra credit worksheet, I look around and see some guy looking at me, I shift uncomfortably until Mr.Clancy comes back with the sheet. "Thanks, see you tomorrow" Mr.Clancy nods. I sprint back to my tree and sit inside of the comforting branches, it's a weeping willow tree that has beautiful dark green leaves that pool onto the ground below. I hung fairy lights in the tree and have a couple books in a hole in the tree, along with my locket that my mom gave to me a long time ago. I stroke the locket affectionately before sitting down to do my schoolwork.

I see this girl every day in class,I think her name was Rami, Rinny? I don't remember. She always spaces off and and looks like her dog just died, I was curious about what her deal was, so I followed her. It's not creepy! I just wanted to see what she does after school gets out. I followed her in secret all the way into the forest until we came upon a giant weeping willow with fairy light all around it, It was gorgeous. I can see why she came here. I watched her part the leaves and step inside, so I went to the opposite side and stepped in quietly, I went behind the trunk and watched her take her hand out of a hole in the tree. I leaned a little closer... and stepped right on a dry twig.

That was all for that chapter, I hoped you liked it , again, first story, I'm not going to be the best at it, and there are going to be mistakes, and lots of them.
