Chapter Five

     It had been nearly an hour since (Y/N) went to the bathroom,and I was really starting to get worried.

     "Hey Dream,"I said.Dream looked up from his tuna sandwich.He swallowed down the chunk of food he had in mouth.

     "Yah,Ink?"He responded.

     "Do you know where (Y/N) is?She left to go to the bathroom nearly an hour ago."He just shrugged and turned back to his sandwich.

     "Nope.Maybe you should go look for her.This house is really big,so she could've easily gotten lost."I got up from the couch and started to walk back towards the bathroom."Good luck."

     The further down the hallways I went,the darker it got.I should probably install some light switches soon.When I got to the bathroom,I immediately knew she wasn't in there,because the door was wide open and the lights were turned off.That's when I really got scared for her.

     "(Y/N)!?Where are you?"My voice echoed back to me.(Y/N)?!Where are you?It seemed as if the walls were mocking me.

     After five minutes,my walking pace sped up into a jog.I kept shouting her name over and over again like it was the only word I knew.I checked the library,my art studio,our rooms,the backyard,everywhere.

     Was I going to spend the rest of my life looking for her?I crossed my arms and shivered,noticing the sudden wave of cold,that was almost instantly followed by a SNAP.Soon afterwards,a little blue note fluttered over to me and landed at my feet.I picked it up,and noticed the words were written in WingDings.

     My AU didn't have a Gaster,so I had never really learned the language.I wondered if anyone could help me translate it.Dream didn't have a Gaster.HIs parent was that tree him and his annoying twin brother guarded.Blue technically had a Monster Kid,since he lived in Underswap.But I assumed MK might've taught him.

     I walked all the way back to the living room,where Blue was still staring at the TV.

     "Hey,Blue,can you read WingDings?"I asked him.He spun his head around to look back at me.

     "Kinda.Why?"

     "I found this note while looking for (Y/N),and I need someone to translate for me."He seemed to light up at my request.

     "You are in need of the Magnificent Sans' assistance?Fret not,dear friend,for I shall lend you a helping hand!"He swiped the note out of my hand and glanced at the writing before reading it aloud in English.

     "Ahem.

     "Dear Rainbow Asshole and his idiots;Ink,what's an asshole?"

     "Nothing important,"I said,nervously chuckling to try and avoid explaining cuss words to Blue.

     "Okay!Anyways...

     "You guys are really dumb,you know?You knew I was running around,and that I was dangerous,yet you STILL let your little friend wander around freely.I gotta admit,she's adorable,which is why I plan on keeping her around for a while.Who knows!Maybe she'll even develop Stockholm Syndrome and fall in love with me.Just remember this next time you leave someone alone.Your "Friend",Error.PS - if you ever want to see (Y/N),come find me,and I'll give you a hell of a time you won't soon forget."I just stood there in total shock.I didn't think that this could happen to a person if you leave them alone for a couple minutes.

      "Guys,we have to go save her!"Dream stuck his head out of the entryway to the kitchen.

      "Save who?"

     "(Y/N).She was kidnapped by Error."

     "Ugh,that guy?Well,at least he's not as bad as my brother."

     "How come you guys have an arch nemesis and I don't?"

     "Because your too nice to everyone.Enough chitchat,let's get ready to get (Y/N) back!"

     You sat up after waking up from a nap.There was nothing but white as far as the eyes could see.You tried to get up and walk around,but your movements are restricted by the blue strings holding you in place.It was at the moment you noticed the cords wrapped around your mouth,holding your jaw closed so you couldn't speak.That's when 'He' spoke up.

     "Oh,puppet,your finally awake.I thought I might have accidentally killed you earlier."His low,glitchy voice sounded like it was purring every word.He dropped down from the hammock he had made of his blue cords.Where was this guy getting so much string?

     He slowly made his way over to you,every step echoing throughout the void.Once he finally got close enough,he squatted down to your level and grabbed your face,making you look him in the eye.

     "You wouldn't have been much use to me dead,now would you?"He shook your head for you.His permanent smile seemed to stretch further across his face as he let go of yours.He looked so satisfied with himself,as if now that you were in his possession,he had the whole world at his fingertips.

     "Now,then.Let me introduce myself - I'm Error,that one guy Ink warned you about.But it looks as if you didn't listen very well."He chuckled at his own remark and went over to sit next to you.He untied the strings around your mouth,but left your hands alone."There,you can talk now."

     You didn't want to talk to him.Why would anyone feel okay with talking to their kidnapper?

     "Well?I know you talk.You and Ink talk too much even,so I don't see why you can't talk to me."You still refused to say anything.He started to look annoyed,which scared you into asking him something.

     "What do you want from me?"He had already taken away everything and everyone you loved when he destroyed your universe.Normally,you would try to see "the bright side",but it seemed like nothing good was going to come out anytime soon.

     "Heh,I dunno.Just,YOU,I guess."He tried to cup a hand around your cheek,but you flinched at his cold,boney fingers.He gave you that same scary look,so you let him do what he wanted.

     "What's so interesting about me?"

     "I'll tell you another time."You tried to think of another question,but you were totally drained,since you had to use a lot of energy to think about everything that had just happened.After a long period of sitting in awkward silence,Error got up and tie the strings back around your mouth.

     "I gotta go take care of something.I'll be back soon."Wait,he was just gonna leave you there?You tried to mffff in protest,but you couldn't speak because of your gag.You watched as Error walked through a portal to some other AU.

     When were your friends gonna get here?
