Chapter 9: Marriage

"You're highness..we would like to propose a toast for you" Madeira stood up

Then they all bumped their champagne glasses.

"Umm....guys....really...you don't have to call me 'You're Highness'" Jennie said as she drank her wine.

Then they all ate happily....

Taehyung then stared at Jennie intently.

Jennie stared back at him,  both met each other's gaze.

Then Jennie just looked at other direction.

At the royal library......

Jennie was reading a novel until Madeira arrived and sat across her.

"Umm...Queen Jennie.....regarding my son....you can forget about the bracelet thing" Madeira said.

Oh not again! What's with that bracelet? Does it mean that me and Taehyung have to marry?

"Oh about that....well..alright." Jennie said.

She then saw a line from the book and it says:

'You have to marry him!' The father said

Thoughts ran through her head.

Think Jennie! Think! Are you going to really marry him?

After Jennie read the novel, she went to her room to chill out.

Just then Lisa, Rosé and Jisoo went inside.

"Annyeong, you're Highness." They all sat beside her.

"Hello, what are you doing here?" Jennie asked.

"Well, we just want to congratulate you as our Queen." Rosé smiled.

"Sorry for not believing in you" Jisoo looked down sadly.

"Regarding my twin...is it really true that you have intimate relationship?" Lisa asked

Jennie then looked down sadly

Do I love Taehyung? I'm confused. I mean he protected me.

"It's alright you're Highness. It's alright if you're still not ready for marriage." Lisa said.

"But how could we have a king and the next child in line for the throne?" Jisoo asked.

"Jisoo, we can't force Queen Jennie." Rosé said.

Jennie still looked down sadly.

"Then we'd better get going you're highness" Jisoo said looking down.

Eotteoke? I feel giddy when I'm with Taehyung, I mean he's handsome and all, but a girl like me would marry him? It's unbelievable. Jennie thought.

Jennie then shook her head.

Then Jungkook, Jin, and Jimin entered her room.

They all bowed down at her.

"Hello, you're highness" Jimin knelt down and kissed Jennie's hand.
