That Guy || Jughead FanFic

I felt arms shaking my shoulder gently, waking me from my slumber I had some idea of who they belonged to but I couldn't care less.

"Braedyn you have gotta wake up," he said but again I really didn't care, so he did the one thing that he knew would get me up, he went for a few minutes and I carelessly went back to sleep, he walked over my bed.

And tipped ICE COLD water on me.

I jumped out of that bed faster then you could... Say anything and ran straight into the shower not caring that I was still in my PJ, they where already soaked anyway, I could see the traitor standing in the doorway with an evil smirk on his face as I stood trying to warm up in the shower my long curly hair draped half over my face, then my mum walked round the corner. "Your up Braedyn," then she saw my current situation with black streaks under my eyes from last nights eyeliner down my sodden face, she laughed at me. She laughed. I fact he laughed so loud that it woke up my twin sister and her boyfriend, they walked up and all four years of them crowded round the entrance to the bathroom to see me fully clothed, my long brown curly hair a mess, eyeliner everywhere.

After this mornings events I got dressed and ready for the events today brings, after Jughead had also done the same he came into my room. "You ready?" I nodded staring at my phone, he began to wok over to me and I turned off my phone and stood up, "let's go," I said trying to be happy, but Jughead looked suspicious but nonetheless took my hand and we walked into the kitchen and I said goodbye to my mum.

We walked out of the apartment complex and into the garage, we took my car but Jug drove since. Veronica, Betty and Archie had both gone earlier to do 'stuff'.

We had the music on a sensible level and we where driving along the road, we drove in silence, until my phone went off I looked down and it was him again, my face visibly saddened when I saw his text. I looked up and we where sitting in traffic Jughead kept trying to see who I was texting, "Braedyn who are you texting?" He asked while his eyes where still on the road, the lights had just gone green and he began driving again, "Just, Veronica." I said SO unconvincingly, I could tell he was mad, but when we drove into the school he parked in our usual space and we got out and met up with Archie, Veronica and Betty.

I walked up and hugged my sister, it took her bye surprise but she hugged me back. Them Cheryl walked up to us, "I need to talk to Braedyn. Alone." She aggressively grabbed my wrist, I looked around for someone to help me but now one knew.

It was the end of school, me and Jughead where walking out of school he seemed to have cheered up which made me happy, I grabbed his hand. "Pops?" I asked him jokingly, he looked at me and rolled his eyes, I walked around into the passenger side and Jughead walked to the drivers, we both got in and buckled up, we got started to the all to familiar Pop Tates diner.

We order our usual, we talked and talked for hours, well into the night with no unwanted text messages. Until 12 o'clock, then I got it the most inconvenient text from.

Mama bear🐻💕: Come home soon please, school tomorrow.

I could breath again knowing it was not him, but I always (sometimes) listened to my Mom. "Jug, we gotta go home," I said to him with a frown. "You sure?" He asked he obviously had a good time, but all good things come to an end.

Jughead was staying with us until his dad got his act together/till he got out of prison. But it wasn't all bad!

Once me and Jug had gotten home, my Mum was at home, having fancy dinner with Veronica, Archie and Fred, when we opened the door me and Jughead where loudly laughing and we got death stares so we made it to my bed room before holes where burnt into our skulls.

He sat down on the bed and I sat next to him, I looked down at my phone and then he looked and me, I resumed his look and we locked lips.
