Eriks POV
Kiss me one last time!
She sang as she lie bleeding in my arms. I leaned in and softly kissed her. Her bodie went limp, and pale, and cold as the life rippled from her cheeks. I gently sobbed as I held her close to my chest. That Raoul will pay for what he's done, to me, to Christine, to Noah! What about Gustave? I must get him, it's what Christine would have wanted.
Moments later paramedics came rushing down and push her on a blanket. "Mr. Destler, there is still a chance," They said with a slight bit of joy and hope. "Just have a little hope, trust me everything will be alright."
I half smiled a bit as I felt the slightest touch of hope as well as faith. "Thank you. Please, try your best. We have two children."
They nodded their heads then took off with Christine wrapped inside the silky, white blanket that now had some red blood stains from Christines bleeding frame. Maybe the could save her, just maybe.
I went to Noah who was sleeping soundly on the bed. He can't know, he's only one. I shook him slightly. When he woke up. Him and I left to pick up Gustave.
I got us a carriage to the orphanage Madame Giry said he will be at whenever we are ready to be parents.
"Hello?" I asked as I stepped through the door.
"Ah, welcome! Are you here to adopt a youngling, give on, or pick up one you left?" A little, plump lady asked kindly.
"Hi, Erik Destler," I said shaking her hand. "I'm here for Gustave Daae?"
"Nice to meet you, Erik. I'm Ms.Baton. I will fetch the lovely Gustave, who are you in relation to him?"
"Hes my son, the mother just passed away."
"Oh, my! I'm so sorry, I will be right back with Gustave."
A few moments later she returned with a 12 year old Gustave. "Father!" He yelled and ran over to me. "Who is that?" he pointed to the little boy by my side.
"Gustave, this is your little brother Noah. Hes 11 years younger than you," I said to him.
"He's only one?" Gustave asked with joy and questioning.
"Yes, now we must go. I have something to tell you," and with that we left. It won't be easy on him know his most favorite person in the entire world was nonlinger alive. His own mother,
Lost and gone.
