He sits in his cell and he lays on his bed, covers his head and closes his eyes. He sees a shiny smoking gun and the coward he ran and in his arms was the bleeding love of his life.

I went on a walk with Amaya at 9pm for some food and the dark silhouette stood over her. Gun in hand. The gunshot blasts through the street. Amaya falls to the floor like a lifeless rag-doll. I fall to the floor with her catching her head. The wound splattering blood everywhere.
"kiss it better" she cried " I'm not ready to go"
I cry to the sound of this. Wiping the tears from her face. Thoughts run through my mind. 'why didn't I give her a family' 'why was I scared to love her'

Her hands are so cold and I kiss her face.
"Everything will be alright" I say as I notice the revolver. The rage grew inside.
"I'll avenge my lover tonight" I scream.

I reach the street the stranger ran down. Dark and mysterious as the storm approached. Her last words echoed in my head 'its not your fault, love, you didn't kno- know'. I finally approach the stranger and I pulled the trigger. The gunshot made its way down the street as the silhouette falls to the floor. The rain falls to the floor. And tries to wash away my memories.

Now I sit behind prison bars.
"25-life" I hear the guards say and shes not in my arms. I couldn't bring her back with a bullet to his heart. In the back of my mind the man who tore my world apart.

I hold on to a memory.
........ All she is, is a memory.

I laugh at her under the table as the lightning grew closer. Blankets and pillows in her hideout as she sprawls across her bed. I crawl underneath and lie down with her.
"Stay with me until I fall asleep. Stay with me" she says and I'm brought back to reality.
