Steve Rogers - Captain America

Agent Romanoff and I run for the Command Room. I push through agents, running directly behind Natasha, who doesn't bother to apologize. I mutter my own apologies as I push them to the side again, after Natasha did.

We pass by the lab. I should probably tell Stark and Banner. I stop, but Natasha keeps going in front of me, running at a full on sprint. I wave a hand in front of the door scanner and the door slids leaisurely open.

"She's in Perth Scotland, under the River Tay!" I yell into the lab before taking off running after Natasha.

I turn the corner, barely missing Agent Hill and her steaming cup of coffee. "Damn it Rogers!" She yells. "We found her!" I yell back at an indignant looking Agent Hill. Her whole expression changes as she punches the flap of the trashcan open and throws her coffee inside. She runs after me, her boots and mine loudly smacking against the dark metal floors.

I burst into the Command Room, Agent Hill behind me, and see Natasha and Clint, leaning over a computer screen, all the cameras we have in Perth all drawn up on the multiple computer screens.

"I want air traffic activity logs up on these three screens!" Fury barks. Bruce and Tony barge into the room as he says this. "Stark! Quickly look over the air traffic log. Yell if you find anything." For once, Tony doesn't back talk and immediately follows orders.

He runs over to the screens and starts tapping away on the screens.

"Banner! Check over the weather reports, especially any significent temperature changes, increased cold or heat, sporatic snows, anything that might signal Freya's or Maggie's prescence." Fury points to a set of screens beside Stark.

"I want you two running facial recognition, anything and everything, every single face scanned and checked for any possible correlation to Loki or Maggie Taschereau, you understand me?" Fury barked at two agents sitting on stand by at computers.

"Agent Hill, supervise Agents Wells and Parker." Maria Hill nodded and leaned over the railing, watching the Face Trace system run.

"Romanoff and Barton, you two run over the data." Fury turned to me.

"And Captain, I want you to tell me exactly what happened in that interrogation room."

"And then we found out he was engaged to Maggie Taschereau, and that's when Natasha made the deal with him that ultimately made him give us the information." I finish.

Fury nods. "But we have to-"

"Found something!" Bruce said, waving a hand in the air. "There was a general decrease in temperature last Sunday, then it spiked for a few minutes, then started to decrease again." Banner says.

"Sir, we have an unidentified soldier of Loki's army spotted in Perth. Name is unknown, but we have him pictured fighting against the Avengers from the last battle." Agent Wells remarks from her seat.

"I hacked into Perth International's files, it seems we had an undocumented arrival of two jets last Monday, the night of the battle. The passangers were undocumented as well, though it says here there was some 'strange and foreign cargo' being unloaded as well." Stark calls from his station.

"We accessed the hacked files from Stark, and some of this data looks duplicated, maybe even falsified." Natasha remarked smartly from beside Clint, arms crossed, a pissed look on her face.

"To have the cargo released to their custody, the apparent manager of that company had to sign a sheet of paper and show his i.d and passport. The passport and i.d. not only look fake, but his picture resembles the one of the man from the Face Trace system." Clint says, pointing in the direction of Agent Hill and the Face Trace software.

Screens buzzed, and a picture of a passport and i.d flew up to the screen above Natasha and Clint, and the Face Trace agents threw up a screenshared image of the Face Trace software on their computer screens. The picture on the passport defintely matched the man on the Face Trace software.

"Sir, we have confirmed evidence that one of Loki's main soldiers is in Perth, Scotland at this moment." Agent Parker remarked from his seat.

Fury nodded and looked at me. "Suit up."

A/N

Hey guys!

I know, this i pretty short, even by my slacker-standards. But this is more of a filler for the upcoming chapters, which are AWESOME if I do say so myself.

Really, I'm proud of the conclusion to this book.

What? Conclusion you ask?

Well, yes! Its pretty close now! But not to close. Not yet. I have some more tension to build, then when I'm done, I'll have an ACME dynamite kit that'll blow up in my face.

Hehe. Did you Marvel Fanatics love that reference there? Did ya? Did ya?! Cuz I enjoyed putting it there, hehe.

Okay, enough of my senseless babbling. This is not a talk show!

Don't forget to vote if you liked this chapter! It really motivates me a lot to keep up my work!
