Chapter 3: A Cutie Mark? What's That?

   "Steel!! Time for dinner!"

   "Ok...stay cool...you're gonna be fine..." He had said to himself as he walked down the stairs.

   "Ah! Steel! It's an honor to meet you!" Hope's father was always in a good mood. Which was helpful to Steel, even though he was only 8.

   Hope had walked in after her parents and looked at Steel for a couple seconds.

  She blushed then gave him a quick kiss on the nose.

   "Heh...um...thanks Hope..." He hadn't pomfed before...but now he knew what it was like. He was blushing and so was Hope because she knew what it meant.

   "U-uhm...Mom?!" He called out.

   "Yes Ste-" she was cut off when she saw the pomf and then she saw a heart-shaped mark on his flank.

   "Steel... you got your cutie mark!!"

   "A cutie mark? What's that....?"
