Monique stares at me for a long hard time before she turns her head realizing that I've been looking at Jacob for the longest time.
"Awe!!!" Monique says mocking me. She gives me a grin.
"What?" I ask her while I blush.
"It's fascinating to see my best friend stare at a boy who has only been her for like.. 5 minutes" she smirks.
"He hasn't been here for 5 minutes," I smile then look down at the timer that has been going from the time I saw Jacob until now,"He's only been here for 7 minutes, 28 seconds and counting" I say looking all smart.
"Oops... sorry miss perfect" Monique jokes. I smile at her. When I turn my head I see Jacob only yards away. I say in a whisper,
"I think he's coming this way.." I also say in a cheerful way and sure enough he is.
"Uhh... excuse me but do you know where the maths class is??" Jacob questions Monique and I, and of course I would answer before Monique could even open her mouth.
"Oh uh... we're in the same class" I say with a unsteady voice. I smile and he sends one back.
"Sorry to interrupt the moment but the bell just went so I think we should get going" Monique almost whispers. I blush and nod at the same time.
"Do you have your books?" I ask Jacob as we walk down the hall.
"Yeah, it's in my bag"
"Ok... Oh I am so sorry.." I smile and put out my hand, "I'm Skylar".
"Jacob" he says shaking my hand.
Monique does the same.
After our proper greeting we continued our walk down the hall way, took a left, then another left, then walk up the stairs and turned right to reach out destination. The maths classroom.
