Garroth's POV
It's been almost 4 years since I got out of irenes dimension,and Aphmau & I aren't the same as we used to be..,I really miss what we were like...,I miss our laughs,adventures..
Everything that we used to be..,I miss having Laurence around too..,I may not have showed it but he gave me my confidence..,I miss him too...
I sat on the ship,I glanced at Aphmau who was playing with the girls 'but she seems happy with her girls..,I mean Aaron is their father,well Lillith's adopted father anyway..' I thought
Looking at her playing with the girls reminds me of how she used to play with the boys,she loved them so much,she still does of course
"Garroth,are you alright?" A blue haired woman asked it was Katelyn "you've been looking at them for the past 5 minutes" she said
"Yeah..,just thinking out the past" I replied and Katelyn sat down next to me
"Easier days?" She asked
"Better times" I replied with a sigh
"She used to always have a reason to be a happy person..,now the girls are the only thing that make her smile" I told Katelyn
"She was probably happier when Aaron was here and I wasn't" I added quietly then Katelyn slapped me
"Garroth stop it,when you were gone,getting you out was always Aphmau's main priority,you mean a lot to her" Katelyn replied
I held my cheek "Katelyn,you can't look at me strait in the eyes and tell me wasn't happy when Aaron was here" I replied
"Garroth she's happy that your here" Katelyn replied
"She was happier when Aaron was here" I said and stood up walking to my room on the boat,closing the door behind me
I thought of the past
"Lady Aphmau may I have this dance?"
"Garroth you should take your helm off you look better without it"
"Aphmau I love you,Now Go!"
I snapped back into reality "Aphmau what happened to us?" I said to myself
"I don't know Garroth" I turned around to see Aphmau standing there
"Lady Aphmau? What are you doing in here?!" I asked
"Katelyn said your kinda down,I wanted to see what's wrong" she replied
"oh..,nothing just thinking about the past that's all.." I replied
"Why?" She asked
"They were better times,for me at least..,I miss when You Laurence and I went out on adventures and when we messed around in the guard tower and stuff.." I replied
She giggled a little bit which surprised me "my tables still in that old tower" she said
"And back then,I didn't ruin your family.." I said looking down
She walked over to me and lifted my head up "you didn't ruin my family,that was his choice,it's not your fault,besides the boys thought of you like a father,and your the closest thing the girls will ever and have ever had to one" she replied
"But if he didn't save me,the girls would have their real father" I replied
"But if he wouldn't have saved you,you would've died,Garroth I could never live with myself if I knew you died,you were my first guard,you trusted me! You were my first ever friend" he said
'There's that word,Friend..,something that I'm stuck being in her eyes..' I thought
"But he made you happy"
"So do you,whenever I was sad you were there to cheer me up! You always have been" she replied
"Thanks Lady Aphmau..,you should get back out to your girls,their probably missing you" I said
She gave me a hug and nodded,then she left,I closed the door behind her "Laurence would know what to do..,Irene Laurence why can't you just come home..?" I said to myself
I missed him,he was like a brother to me,he's the reason I built up any confidence
But enough about him,I'm sure we'll get him soon enough,for now we just need to worry about the tasks at hand..,
