After a long day, everyone sent me to the hotel to get some rest while they stayed behind for a bit longer. I didn't argue, I was exhausted.
They let me take one of the SUV's to the hotel. After I arrived, I took a long and hot shower before settling down. I was about to fall asleep when there was a knock on the door, pulling me from my bed. I got up, opened the door, revealing a very tired looking Spencer. He had this bag over his shoulders before smiling tiredly.
"We always room together, but we had an extra and an uneven number of females," he said as I raised my eyebrows in question. "We're sharing a room."
"Oh!" I opened the door wider, letting him in. "Sorry."
He sighed and fell onto the bed, closing his eyes. I chuckled before getting back into my bed.
"I hope you're not a snorer." I smiled, closing my eyes.
"You know, snoring happens when you can't move air freely through your nose and throat during sleep. This makes the surrounding tissues vibrate, which produces the familiar snoring sound-"
"Spencer, I would love to sit up and listen to your rambling all night, but I'm exhausted," I said, sitting up to look at him. "You are too, let's just go to sleep."
"No," he says before looking back up to me. "Not no to going to sleep, no, I don't snore."
"Good," I chuckled before turning back over and closing my eyes. "Goodnight, Spencer."
I heard him sigh. "Goodnight, Madeline."

I woke up the next morning to the shower running. It was about 7 in the morning, the sun had barely come out yet. I got up, and stretched before pulling on some clothes before Spencer got out of the shower.
I went downstairs, getting coffee for Reid and I and grabbing a few pancakes before going back up to our room. Reid was out and dressed, his hair still wet from the shower.
"Good morning," I smiled, handing him his coffee. "Sleep well?"
"Thank you," he smiled. "And yes, you?"
"Same." I smiled.
I ate my pancakes as Reid read a book. "How many have you read this week?"
He frowned. "Only 5."
I laughed, nearly choking on a mouthful of pancakes. There was a knock on the door as I threw my finished pancakes away. Reid opened the door, finding Morgan standing there, a smirk obvious on his face.
"C'mon lovebirds, we've got a case to solve."
I grabbed my jacket, following Reid from the room and down to the SUV's where we all met at the station. When we got there, there were five reporters sitting in the station, waiting for me.
"It's your time to shine." Reid smiled before going into the conference room.
I turned to the reporters, smiling softly. "Now, who's first?"
I gave everyone a statement for their papers or news report later tonight before Hotch approached me. "You're doing great, do you think you can give the profile to the news?"
"Like on live TV?" I asked, intertwining my fingers together.
Hotch nodded. I smiled at him. "Of course, when do I go on?"
"30 minutes," he said, handing me a file. "Here's the profile."
I stood in front of everyone and the cameras, Morgan standing beside me.
