Chapter 1

Ryan's POV

I hid the first letter for my baby girl explaining what all the letters were for in her doll house so I really hope she never sells the house.

First Letter:

Dear Lizzy,

I realize that I am not allowed to be called a father, but these letters will explain what the few memories you have left of me mean. You will first have to find the second letter in our favorite snack. You can only open 1 letter a year but if you open more than one then you will die of shock. I am sorry but that is the truth. I have hid enough letters to get through high school and on the last letter is a way to contact me if you have questions.

Lizzy's POV:

This is what I found a year ago but I have not jogged my memory enough to figure out where the next one would be I have looked everywhere in the kitchen and anywhere we would store food. My "mom" is supposed to help but she is just a good digger on my "dad". This is probably confusing so let me back up. Hi my name is Lizzy Portman and I don't have parents. My biological dad left when I was 4 months old then my biological mom remarried a man that became my father. My biological mother had cancer and it was miracle she survived birth she died on my first birthday my dad then remarried this good digger who was told to watch me but I am small enough to escape her. Also my mom died with an envelope clutched in her hand and I was told it's for me when I can read but my "mom" won't give it to me. I had one other letter but all it said was hi Lizzy I am your biological father and I hope to meet you one day love you Ryan p.s. good luck.

So how's that I'm pretty sure the grammar is awful but I guess that's what happens when u write at 12:30 a.m.
