Chapter 17

I don't know what else I can do, I don't want to give up but I don't think she wants me.

 I'll do anything to make her happy even if it involves sacrificing my own happiness for hers.

 I sigh and flop on my bed only moving when my phone starts vibrating incessantly. 

The number is blocked but I answer it anyway. "Hello?" My voice sounds tired even to my own ears and my finger hovers over the red 'end call' button.

 A shaky voice comes through the speakers "I-I think I love you."The words were slow and wobbly and it cracks a few times, but I know it's her. 

She sounds in awe of her own voice.

 A few tears escape my eyes as I hear the voice I've wondered about for so long, my joy is so overwhelming my chest hurts.

 I clear my throat and speak, not even trying to keep the flood of emotion out of my voice 

"I know I love you."
