Selena's first name means 'Moon' in Greek. Selena had also been named after the famous Tejona singer called Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, who had sadly died just three years after Selena was born. Selena had covered one of Selena Quintanilla's songs called 'Bidi Bidi Bom Bom' which was also featured on Selena's compilation album called 'For You', which came out in 2014. Selena also says that she looked up to Selena Quintanilla her whole life, and that she has always been educated on her.
