"Don't worry dad I'll make you proud."
Solange said looking at her dad's picture on her locket.
"Come on Solange you cannot be late on your first day." Her mom Anne said to her.
"I'm not gonna be late you are ! Why don't you just tell one of your husband's driver to take me. It's not like you care if I'm gone." She murmured the last part. Her mom looked at her cautiously. Solange stared at her room and looked round at all her posters and some pictures of her dad and her and her family. She was going to leave all that behind to become a boarder 'gross' she shuddered. "Okay I'm ready let's get this over with." She said slightly sad, but making sure not to show it. She didn't want her mother to feel accomplished. Over the years she knew her mother loathed her, but she really didn't think that she would ship her her off somewhere.
Her little step sister who was four years old ran in to hug her legs.
"Mummy I don't want Solange to leave me!" She cried.
"Lizzy I'm not leaving forever, I'll be back Christmas, that's not far from now baby don't cry." It didn't make Elizabeth stop crying. "Aaw I love you okay and you have mummy, she will buy ice cream and have tea parties with you." She looked at her mum. "Won't you mum?" Anne rolled her eyes "Of course sweety."
Anne took Elizabeth in her arms called the maid to take care of her after they tool their leave.
