In the olden days, when wishing still worked, there lived a King whose daughters were all beautiful; but the youngest was so lovely that even the sun, who has seen many things were struck with wonder every time he shone on her face. Not far away from the King's palace there was a deep dark forest and under a lime tree in the forest there was a well. In the heat of the day the Princess used to go into the forest and sit by the edge of the well, from which a marvelous coolness seemed to flow. To pass the time she had a golden ball which her mother had given her before she died. She used to throw it up in the air and catch it. It was her favorite game. One day whilst she was trying to catch it she missed and the ball rolled over the edge and disappeared. The princess wept because she thought there was no way she could get the ball. But as she wept and sobbed someone spoke to her. " Scuse me why are you crying miss A:N Anyone get the Cinderella movie reference. Aye aye no one....OK I'll shut up. She looked around to see where the voice was coming from and saw a frog who'd stuck his big ugly head out of the water. 'Oh it's you, you old splasher' she said. I'm crying because my golden ball has fallen into the well water and it's so deep i can't see it. 'Well you can stop crying now' said the frog. 'I can help you but what can you give me in return A:N Are people in fairy tales incapable of doing anything without wanting something in return. I mean like seriously its become a real problem here. Whatever you want frog! Anything! My clothes, my pearls, my jewels even my golden crown i am wearing A:N this princess is the dumbest of dumb. I don't want your clothes and your jewels or your crown they are no good to me, but if you love me and take me as your companion and your playmate and eat from your dish and drink from your cup A:N isn't that just unhygienic????? and sleep in your bed, then i'll dive done and bring up your golden ball. The princess thought about this. 'he's just a stupid frog he won't be able to get out of the water'. But of course she didn't say that out loud. 'Yes yes alright you can come live with me if you get my ball'. Satisfied with her answer he dove into the water and soon resurfaced with her ball. The princess was so happy to have her ball back she forgot all about the frog and ran back up to the castle. The next day the princess was sitting down for dinner with her father, the king and eating of her golden plate, when something came hopping up the marble stairs: plip plop plip plop. When it reached the top and called: "Princess! Youngest princess! Open the door for me!" She ran to see who it was, and opened the door, ad there sitting on the step was the fro. Frightened A:N how??? Its a frog!!!!! she slammed the door at once and ran back to the table. The king saw that her heart was pounding A:N Cause that's normal and said "What are you afraid of, my child? Is there a giant at the door?" "Oh no papa," she said,"it's not a giant, it's a horrible frog". "What does the frog want with you A:N maybe he just wants to say hi and why y'all acting like its a big deal IT'S A FROG!!! anyways on with the story. The princess told her father the whole story. Suddenly there was a second knock on the door and a voice called; 'Princess, princess, youngest daughter, Open up and let me in! Or else your promise by the water isn't worth a rusty pin Keep your promise, royal daughter Open up and let me in' The king turned and said to his daughter 'If you make a promise, you have to keep it. Go and let him in.' She opened the door and the frog hopped i. He hopped all the way to her chair and said 'Lift me up. I want to sit next to you'. She didn't want to but the king said 'Go on. Do as he says.' So she lifted the frog up and set next to her plate. 'Push it a little closer so I can eat with you'. A:N Again unhygienic but as you do. She did as she was told. When the frog had finished his meal he asked the princess to carry him to her bedroom to sleep with her A:N not that sleep get your mind outta the gutter ya nasty. The princess picked up the frog with her thumb and finger, carried him to her bedroom and placed him at foot of the bed. Closer! Closer! he cried A:N pervert. Finally the princess brought him up to her pillow as far away from her face as she could manage. 'I have one last favor to ask you' the frog said. 'And what would that be' she snapped. ' I need you to kiss me on the lips' the frog replied. ' No that is the most disgusting thing i have ever heard' she said disgust lining her voice. ' You said i could have anything'. 'Fine' the princess said with reluctance. She leaned in and kissed the frog on the lips. When she opened her eyes she say the frog had turned into a prince. ' Beautiful princess' the frog prince ' i was cursed by witch. The curse could only be broken with a kiss from a princess from the moment i saw you i fell in love of you'. The two of them talked all night and by the morning the princess had fallen head over heels for the prince. The two lovers married the next day in a grand and beautiful wedding and they lived happily every after.
