Chapter 1

~(Your Point of View)~

    I take a deep breath in the crisp cool air. It felt so lonely at that moment. Why was that? Maybe it was because I still haven't heard from Bum yet? Shouldn't he be out of collage by now? It was boring without him since I didn't really have any other friends, of course I missed him. With his messy black hair, and his shy personality, we were quite similar in our own little ways.

    It was becoming winter, I don't know why I didn't grab a thicker jacket as cold as it is. Especially when I thought it was a good idea to walk to the grocery store.

   After passing a few blocks, I finally made it. It was past 10 o'clock and I still haven't eaten anything. It was hard living on minimum wage, I could barely pay rent so I usually worked over time. Heck, I can barely pay for food. Thank goodness I only have to support myself.

    As I reached for the door and pulled it towards me, the door wouldn't budge. Of course. Closed. My luck. I gave out a big sigh and turned around to head back, running into someone by accident.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry!" I shouted, the man jerked back dropping his bags on the ground "I'll help pick them up!" I scattered around the floor picking his belongings and quickly putting them back in the bag.

   The man gave me a cute smile "don't worry about it" he was pretty handsome,  I have to admit. After I finished picking up his belongings, he waved goodbye "thanks for helping me" I waved back, he seemed so sweet. Just then my stomach roared in hunger. It might've been obvious I haven't eaten just by my body weight. The man turned around, he must've heard my stomach.... How embarrassing. "When was the last time you ate?"

   I could feel my face turning red "um, last night.... I can't afford much so...." Ugh, how embarrassing. I just met this guy and-

   "I have plenty of food back at my place, you can come by and grab a bite" he gave a big smirk on his face.

I haven't even introduced myself to this man and he's already being so kind. It reminded me how kind Bum was when we first met.... I've been so lonely without him. I always feel like people are staring at me, is it because I look so sad and lost?

"Are you serious?? You're so kind!" I've never felt this kind relief in so long... "Oh! I'm (y/n)! Sorry I haven't introduced myself earlier!" We started heading towards the mans house.

"I'm Oh Sangwoo!" He gave a big smile, he's so sweet. I don't understand why he's helping out someone like me...
