Now I had gotten her attention to the fullest, because she stop what she was doing and rotated so that she can be close to hear me.
So I exhaled deeply and slowly and began explaining.

The Backstory
It all started, the last day of summer the twins were five and I was ten. We were in our parents car now returning from our grandparents house, because we had spent the summer at grandma's. The twins were hungry and started kicking the seats, mom told me to handle them, but I wined because she know for sure that they don't listen to me especially James. However just to make mom happy I attempted still. They didn't listen and I was wining to the top of my voice while the twins kicked the seat and wined as well. Dad was scraping the wheel and Mom was hitting the door. Anyone with eyes would see that frustration and impatience was slowly crawling up within there veins. The had two impatient, spoiled children and the a big wining child to deal with now. Any normal person would want to discipline the children. And that is exactly what my parents did. The both turn around at the same time. Mom ready to jump in the back of the car to strangle us, while dad completely forgot that he was driving the car and looked in the back. That small minutes the took his focus off the road, another car was speeding at the upcoming corner and ran straight into us. The collision of the car sent our car spinning and flipping. Everything flash before our eyes. The next thing we knew me and my younger siblings woke up to weeks after by a bright light. When everything was settle and we got our injuries patched up. We were told by the doctor that we were in a coma for two weeks, and as for our parents, when we asked, we were told that they died on the spot.

I paused to catch my breath and dry my eyes, because remembering everything that happened, stirred up some memories, that I try so hard to forget.

I looked at Annabelle and said, “Anna, if it wasn't for me and the twins, they would of been alive, they would have lived, but no we had to be some self absorbed brats and kill our own parents.”

She watched me, no words to add all she did was hug me, and feeling that comfort cause more tears to flow. She stopped hugging me, dried away my tears and did something I never thought she would of done, which was kissed me. And we are not talking about any old peck, we are talking about passionately kissed me.
I enjoyed it I must say. After our lips broke away from the passionate kiss, she looked me dead in the eyes and said,“ Look, it wasn't your fault, the three of you were kids and still, you were being yourself, so don't blame yourself okay loves.”

After the romantic moment passed, the rest of the long weekend was just spent, playing outdoor activities, playing board games or just chilling with each other. I must say that it was a well spent week. But come Monday something unexpected was going to happen.
