Why You Running Away? (Marshall Lee x Reader)

I was still very dizzy so I went by to a nearby tree and lay down. I started breathing heavier and slower and drift to sleep.

As I woke up I have a pounding headache but I was able to walk around. I have been wandering around for awhile just to find a house, village, or anything at all. As I was walking, it starts to get colder and colder by the minute. I can feel my eyes freeze. My body is slowing down and I feel like I am dragging a cinder block on my back. I try my best to force myself to continue on but the wind knocked me over my feet and my favorite hat blew away...

"Oh Glob It" I mutter to myself.

I fell on the ground. I was so desperate to go somewhere... ANYWHERE... to stay for the night. I begin to crawl on the ground to try and fight the cold. It's not working though. I stop crawling and fell on the ground and feel the world around me spinning. Just as I lose my focus, I heard two distant voices.

"Wait, do you see that?" one female voice asks with concern.

"Yeah, hold on I got her." says the other voice lifting my body and I'm carry to an treehouse. I'm barely awake but I see some details and heard voices in times. I could feel my body resting on a bed. It's warm, and the blankets were fuzzy. I like fuzzy things, I feel safer with fuzzy things around me. I took a deep breath and the bed smelt like vanilla cookies. 'Yummy' I think to myself. I then drift off to sleep. I wake up with a scream pouring out of me. I push all of my (H/C) to the back of my head and I felt the sweat on my face and body more than I ever had in my life. I take a deep breath and take a moment to look around. No one else is in here. Speaking of which, who brought me here? The sun seeps through a curtain and beats onto my body. I let out a big yawn. I hear a knock on the door.

"Come in." I say looking at the door. A girl with a bunny ear hat, blue shirt and blue skirt with a cat came in.

The girl smiles then says, "Hi I'm Fionna and this is Cake."

I smile in return and say back, " It's very nice to meet you both, thank you so much for saving me in the cold."

Fionna looks at Cake and they both smile "Oh it is no problem at all." I let out a relief laugh and feel a sense of comfort.

"If you don't mind me asking, where did you come from?" Fionna asks with a concern look. That's when it hit me. I remember why I was falling. It feels like it's a made up story in a book but it's what really happened..

"Well it's a long story to explain but I'll cut it short. I remember playing my guitar when I was on the peek of a huge mountain. I thought I was alone to my thoughts and notes. Although, as I was playing my guitar I felt two hands on my back and I was pushed me off the mountain. The ground disappeared and everything turned white. Then when I realized I was reaching the ground are started to panic and screamed. I was sure it was the end for me. I closed my eyes and felt my body shut down until this guy saved-er-I mean helped me out." I say looking down at my hands twirling my thumbs around.

"Do you this guy's name?" Cake asks hopping onto the bed. Wait she can talk? Nevermind..

"Yeah he said his name was Marshall Lee." Fionna and Cake gasp at first and then let out a giggle. I couldn't be more confused.

"Since you already met Marshall Lee. we want you to go and meet some of our friends, I'm sure they can help you out and see if we can get you home." Cake says with a big grin.

"Oh I loved to meet your friends, but I actually don't want to go home. There isn't anything back there for me." I say at first with big smile but then feel it fade talking about my home planet. I shake my head and look back at both of them.

"I would like to see how things work around here. Maybe I can start a brand new life." I say with a hopeful look. They nod in agreement and give me some clothes. They leave the room so I could get ready. I stand up, my body is feeling quite sore but I notice a bathroom in the corner. I walk it and set the new clothes aside and I starts the shower water. I haven't realized it before but I suddenly felt extremely dirty. I take off my grey T-shirt and black jeans. I strip down to nothing and entered the shower. The hot water with the soap felt like a waterfall of satisfaction. I scrubbed my hair so I can get all the dirt, leaves, and little twigs out of it. I'm so embarrassed I met Fionna and Cake like this. I haven't looked in the mirror in what feels like forever. I rinse all the soap out and turn off the water. I grab a soft, baby blue towel and I dry off my body and wrap the towel in my hair. I put on the new clothes and It's a perfect fit. I head downstairs and leave the tree house. We walk outside and head to this place called 'The Candy Kingdom.'
