I turn to look at Gabriel and his eyes light up.

He turns and looks at Abigail and huge smiles appear on both of their faces.

I feel my stomach sink and I know this is gonna go in a direction I don't want.

"Cookies!" They both whisper shout.

I roll my eyes and they both grab my hand.

I yelp out and they hush me.

Abigail runs off and Gabriel pulls me away.

I furrow my eyes in confusion.

I hear a scream and Gabriel only smiles. He then pulls me behind a tree.

Soon enough Abigail is seen running back towards us.

Gabriel grins, "Nice!"

I look at them, "I can't believe your idiot minds somehow managed to save us."

Abigail smirks and pushes me aside, "We're experts at it."

Gabriel laughs and starts running towards a path.

We hear a loud thump.

Abigail automatically starts laughing.

Gabriel runs back towards us his face pale.

Abigail quits laughing as strangers approach us.

A girl from the group steps out from the crowd and inspects us.

"Who are you? Where are you going and why?"

I stare at her, "None of your business."

She snaps and the three of us are picked up by the rest of the people in the crowd.

"Take them back to camp. We'll have to drop this one."

I kick at them and manage to hit one of them.

She whips her head around and smirks.

"Finally, some action. Too bad there's no time."

She looks at my injured hand and grabs it.

I yelp.

She kicks the back of my knees roughly and I fall onto the ground.

She ties my hands, "Now, I'd suggest you stay still and don't complain or you'll be unconscious in a second."

I groan. As she picks me back up.

"Let's move forward!" She barks at the rest of the group, "We've got work to do."

I look at Gabriel and Abigail, they hadn't spoken a word. Clearly afraid. But it was weird. It was not the fear I expected.

It was obvious they were hiding something.
