( timeline about to be fucked up )

NOEL

Late nights in the studio shows that creation is serious about us. Our first album was slowly coming together and Creation was ready to put a single out. Maggie had become our best friend in the studio, keeping us on track of course. This meant Iris was in the studio more also. After school was not spent at her house - they were spent in the studio; her text books covering the coffee table. Tall bottles of half empty beers on the floor next to the couch she normally laid across on. She would block out the noises of drunken grown men goofing off and do her school work. After kissing her that night, I had noticed a difference in her. She was rolling her school skirt up higher, her white socks had turned into black knee highs, and she spent late nights in the studio alone with me.

Strumming gently on the electric guitar, I sit alone in the studio. All the boys had gone home for the night - leaving me to do all the work. I sigh, writing the chords down as I find the right chord change I like.

"I told mom you'd take me home." A small voice comes from the doorway.

I don't turn to face her, I just smile. "Oh really? Why's that?"

"Because I miss being around you, Noelie." I hear her footsteps walk closer to me. "We never see each other anymore."

I finally turn, looking her up and down. She was still in her school uniform as usually. "We see each other everyday." I laugh, setting the guitar to the side.

She crawls onto my lap, her legs on either side of me. Her arms wrap around my neck, making me swallow. My hands go to her hips as she looks down at me. "We dont get any alone time." She sighs.

"Riss, Im working." My hands go from her hips to her thighs, rubbing them gently.

"Noelie..." She drags off.

Our eyes meet, "Yes?" I ask.

"You haven't kissed me since that night." She whispers, her fingertips roaming around in my hair.

I look away, my hands running down her leg. This was wrong.

"Riss, you're seventeen."

"Noel, you're twenty four."

"Exactly, Iris." I grab her hips, making her stand up.

She frowns, seeing me get up and walk over to the couch. I fall down, leaning back and taking a sip of the already open beer on the coffee table. She stares at me and taps her foot gently on the floor. Rolling her eyes, she grabs her bag.

"I'll take the bus home." She almost whispers.

I stand up, walking over to the door. "No you wont, I'll take you home."

Iris looks up at me - her arms crossed and her hip popped out. "Fine." Her eyes roll.

"Don't do that." I mumble; annoyed with her attitude. I grab my keys and start down the dark hallway.

"Do what?" She gives me more attitude as she follows behind me.

I stop, turning to her. "Don't give me attitude." I growl a little; fed up, annoyed, and tired.

Her eyes narrow and she stares up at me. "Dont be an asshole."

I stare down at her - my blood boiling. "Dont be a bitch for no reason, Riss." I shake my head.

"Dont be a asshole for no reason then!" She pushes past me.

"What hell is your problem?! We never fight and now we have had two fights in the last three months." I turn to her.

She wasn't herself and I could tell.

"Im a teenager, Noel. What do you expect? Im basically an adult." She stops, crossing her arms.

"You dont act like one."

"You dont treat me like one."

I walk closer to her. "I dont treat you like one because you dont act like one."

"Oh please - you just dont want me to grow up, you act like my fucking father!" Her voice raises.

"Dont raise your voice at me, Emily!" I lean closer to her. "Just be quiet."

Her fingertips wrap around the collar of my jacket. "Make me." She leans closer to me with a smirk.

I chuckle, smirking and wrapping my arm around her shoulders. "I hate you." I say as she cuddles close to me. We walk down the hallway together like this.

"I know you do." She smiles up at me as we walk.
