LILY
I step outside and quickly shut the door behind me and stare at him in anger yet in confusion.
"Leave, Mitchell." I tell him, not caring to see what he has to say or why he is here at my house at nearly six in the afternoon.
"I just wanted to say sorry." Mitchell owns up to me, a sad expression that's written all over his face. I rest the muscles in my face then I dust myself off.
"I appreciate your apology-" before I can finish off my sentence he interrupts me. "No, I don't think you do." Mitchell argues, making my body tremble as he pins me against the front door to my house.
"Justin would've done much more if I hadn't of came onto the football pitch just in time." He tells me, making my body shiver in delight as his minty breath lays still on my neck.
"So I am only going to ask you this once, do you appreciate my apology?" His cold eyes stare into mine as my body starts to shake in a mix between shock and worry.
"Come on Mitchell!" A familiar voice calls out to him and beeps the horn. I look past Mitchell's shoulder and notice Hunter and five girls in the car, screaming and shouting.
Mitchell looks back at me and decides to speak. "I'll see you at the party." He shoots me a smile but disappears when he leaves.
I couldn't help but feel the guilt sinking into my stomach. My head start forming into a headache and the feeling of dizziness takes over my mind. I let out a sigh.
I need a coffee, I thought. Really bad.
I start walking in the hot, summer day towards the famous Café in Los Angeles. I hear it has the best coffee in town!
To be honest, I've never really tried their famous coffees they sell but I really hope that it's nice because I can start to go there more often.
I enter the café with a huge grin on my face and start to look around with my eyes. I walk towards the counter where you pay for your coffee and wait patiently until I can order.
"Hey do you remember how hot that boy was last night at that club we went to?" A familiar voice speaks behind me, a scent that I know of drifts into my nose as I figure out who was behind me.
I know exactly who's behind me.
"Can't you keep your slutty mouth to yourself?" Another familiar voice replies to the other voice, making a smile tug onto my lips.
I try keeping my lips sealed so that I can stop myself from laughing so hard and embarrassing myself.
I accidentally let out a small giggle which makes the two people behind me stop talking. I turn around slowly, until I realise who is behind me.
Of course it's them, how could I be so blind to not realise who this is?
"Caroline and Tina." I greet them, my smile immediately wipes off my face as those names roll off the tip of my tongue.
Tina shoots me the death glare whilst Caroline gives me a weak smile. "Hey..its Lily, right?" Caroline breaks the silence and tension between us three.
"That's right! Lily Davis." I nod politely.
"Fancy seeing you here at the famous café huh?" A sly smirk appears on Tina's face, a face full of viciousness and hatred.
I force a fake smile on my lips. "Yep." Escapes my mouth as Tina lets out a snort. "Hard to believe." she mutters under her breath but I try to ignore her.
"So, are you going to my party that I'm throwing tonight?" Caroline decides to speak as my heart starts to beat rapidly.
She's asking me if I'm going to her party? Thats not like Caroline, at all. Since when has she been nice to me?
"Y-yeah." I try clearing my throat. "Yes, yes I am." I repeat like I am a parrot in disguise of a seventeen year old girl.
Tina rolls her eyes at my remark. "I'm going to go find a table for us to sit at." She tells Caroline. Tina's eyes shift over to mine before leaving to go find a table.
"Ignore her," Caroline tells me. "She's in a crappy mood because Mitchell was pinning this girl on a wall at a house." Caroline rolls her eyes as if it meant nothing.
My breathing hitches as I try letting out a weak yet strangled laugh. "She said the girl was wearing the exact same clothing on which is what you are wearing right now." Caroline pays for three cups of coffees and hands me one.
My breathing suddenly quickens in speed. "I-I guess she brought it from the s-same shop?" I struggle getting my words out of my mouth.
"Possibly. Anyways, lets spend our afternoon drinking coffee before we have to get ready for my party." Caroline tells me whilst I nod.
I've never actually spoken to Caroline before so this gives me a good chance to get to know her a bit better - she's probably not as bad as people say she is.
We both take a seat at Tina's table and drink our cup of coffee in silence until Tina starts to speak.
"I hear you've been hanging around with Mitchell lately." Tina grits her teeth as her sentence rolls out of her mouth like honey.
I bring the cup of coffee to my lips as I take small sips before bringing it down towards the tables again.
"Yeah?" I reply to her in confusion. Well, I wouldn't really say hanging out, more like arguing and helping me out, but yeah, same thing.
"Can I have one word with you outside Lily." Tina gets up from her seat and walks towards the entrance whilst I follow her from behind.
Once we stop walking she turns to face me in anger. "Why were you kissing Mitchell this morning?!" Tina suddenly snaps at me, her face full of anger.
"What are you talking about?" I try asking her nicely. Tina snorts and tries backing up a laughter. "I'm not dumb, Lily. I saw you kissing him at your house!" She replies.
Before I can tell her that we weren't kissing she grabs my hair and starts to pull it, making me groan in complete pain whilst I rugby tackle her to the ground, grabbing her hair and pulling her up from the ground and smashing her head against the concrete again and again until someone pulls me off of her.
This time it was someone unexpected.
"Lily, Stop it!"
