Rainy days started, right exactly from the first day of school. Like most of the students, I came unprepared. But personally, I love rain, it just subtly relaxing hearing every drops splash, it drenches the sound of surrounding sorrow.
I'm Lucky when it rains.

Opening Ceremonies will commence 8 a.m. sharp.
"New school, new opportunities! High school life, get ready for me!" I proudly stated in mind.
The Opening ceremonies ended a while back. It's the Homeroom. The usual "Self-Introduction".
"Hi! Maxwell Athreas Xentha, 15 years of age, and i'm from Latnap District, You can call me by the nickname of Max."
"By that said, please seat beside miss Chisven, seat 34."
*After homeroom
(Recess bell rings)
I thought myself, "I should try socializing." First reflex is with my seatmate, She looks timid but friendly herself, she's quite pretty too..
"Heyyaa! I'm Maxwell, Madrielle right? Nice to meet ya'."
"Oh, hey. Yeah, nice to meet you too."
*shook each other's hands*
"I think is a bit formal, just call me Madie instead."
"Oh, Hahaha well then you can call me Max. By the way, are you a transfer too?"
"Yep, from Nosglib subdivision."
"Hahaha Good chat, What's the next class?"
"I think It's Music and boys will go to PE... well, see ya later!"

*she smiled back*

*Got back to the room, sat down.*
•Whispers to myself, "I can't afford to get wet and catch a cold!"

"Well guys, Dismissal's early today. Take care."
"Goodbye and thank you Miss Dergus!"
•I was about to go out.
"Hey! Maxwell, i'm right all along, Latnap, right? It's a bit cramped but we can manage. My house is just walking distance to your distict."
She's offering me her umbrella? What a nice girl...
"Really? Grateful am I! Sorry for the bother. I'll treat you next time, count on it."
"Hahaha no need to repay, Friends?"
"Friends... well theres my house. Come over?"
"Nahh dude, It's a bit late, Byeee! See ya!"

-That night... after he's done with his homework.
*No food in fridge*
*sigh* Dammit, my allowance won't make it this week...
*took his bike*
"A cup noodle will do."
"*ring* Welcome sir! What can I do for you?"
"Uhmmm... I'll have a Seafood Cup Noodle."
"Would you like to eat it here or take out?"
"I'll eat it here please, and can I have a coke 250."
"That would be 160 yen."

•Maxwell thought,
" She seems familiar."
*sfx 'Bang'!
>with deep trebled voice.
"Two meat buns and a Frel Soda!.."
"Uhmm... Maddie?"
"Oh, hey... Wasn't expecting you're here."
"Yeah... What happened? What's the get-up?"
"MY ASSHOLE OF A BROTHER LEFT THE HOUSE WITH NO GROCERIES. I was starving back there!"
"Ha. Same as I do... So there's this wild part of you eh?"
"Oh, apologies. I was just really angry."
"Nah. So uhm... You live alone?"
"Nope. My step-mom comes every other week, sometimes she just gives me allowance."
"And... Your brother?"
"That piece of sh*t? He got back to Argentina."

*both Laughs, Awkward silence."
>The rains pours.
"You got one?" Maddie said proudly.
"Well... Guess I'll go with you, miss preparedness."
"*giggle* Dumbass. Always bring one! You'll get a cold."
"'Kay! well then... Goodbye!"
"Yeah. See ya tomorrow!"
> Later that night, Max did his homework but he can't quite sleep like he does the same. Theres something bothering him instead.
