It's not like my parents are homophobic. In fact, my parents are very supportive of my older brother Ryan, who is tsundere and gay.
My problem, is the fact that my awesome scientific knowledge means that my parents think that I'm going to have genetic children.
Which is why I'm trying to avoid any topic about that at dinner, which shouldn't even be a dinner topic if you asked me.
That's all I have to say for now, but I've got to go to school.
~Theo
"Theo, time for school." My older brother yelled from downstairs.
"Yeah, yeah." I said back, and I put my journal in my backpack. I ran downstairs, and I grabbed a waffle from the toaster that Ryan had on a plate.
"Hey you little fucker! Give that back!" Ryan said.
"Why? You still have like 500 more on your plate." I asked, a mouthfull of waffle in my mouth.
Ryan rolled his eyes, and put his plate on the dining room table. "Come on, we've got to get you to school."
"I thought you were cool. What did that two months of college do to you?" I asked when I opened the front door.
"Bore me to death." Ryan said, and shoved me out the door.
"You said that about high school, and you got a boyfriend as a birthday present." I said, and rolled my eyes.
"Yeah, I remember. Mom and Dad couldn't see your obvious jealousy." Ryan said, and laughed.
"I-I was not jealous. I was upset that you could make a smart man dumb. B-besides, I'm not gay!" I said.
"I never said you were gay." Ryan said. "But I don't even need to ask to know."
"What gave it away?"
"That question."
I sighed, and got in the passenger seat of Ryan's car. "Just take me to school already."
"You really should tell our parents soon, before you come home with a boy and claim you two are dating out of the blue." Ryan said in a serious tone, but I just stared out the window.

"And the baby thing came up at dinner again." I said, and sighed.
"That sucks, dude." Sam, my friend, said.
"Yeah, but you should say something. Not just say it to the world, but just little hints?" Mackie asked.
"Or find a way to adopt a baby without my parents even knowing?" Theo asked.
"Actually, I have a question?" Sam asked.
"Yeah?" Mackie and I asked.
"How is a baby made?"
This statement left Mackie with a red face, and my face just shocked. "How do you NOT know by now?"
"My parents wouldn't allow me to take that class." Sam explained.
I looked at Mackie, who was quiet, and I said. "You're her girlfriend. You tell her."
"What? No! I barely know a lot about it myself!" Mackie said. "Besides, she's innocent, and we have to keep her that way."
"At least until her parents make her take the class." I said and smirked.
"The day will come, but today is not that day!" Mackie said.
Sam and I laughed, but I stopped when I saw a new boy.
He had brown hair seeming lighter in the light, and his dark brown eyes that can remind people of dark chocolate shining brighter than any star I've ever seen in my entire life.
"Theo?" I heard Mackie ask. "SCIENCE NERD!"
"E=MCSCARED!" I yelled, and fell out of my seat. I looked up, and I saw the boy with a lunch try looking at me.
"Are you okay... Science Nerd?" He asked, and he smiled. His smile was as bright as the sun, and it seemed like I'd be blinded if I looked away.
"Y-Yeah. I'm okay." I said, my face a light shade of pink.
"Do you want me to help you up?"
"No." I said rudely. "I don't want you to help, idiot."
With a confused look, he walked off. I sat back in my chair, and stared at him dreamily.
"You certainly are Ryan's brother. I bet there is a tsundere trait in your family." Mackie mumbled.
"He called me Science Nerd." I said cheerfully, still staring at him.
"I thought you hated that nickname." Sam said.
"But I like it when he calls me that." I said.
"He's my neighbor, I could invite you to over and talk after school." Mackie offered.
"Tch, and actually SOCIALIZE with a new person? No way." I said, looking at her with a glare.
"Are you like bipolar or something?" Sam asked.
"Only when he likes someone. I should know after being friends with him since we were six." Mackie said.
"S-Shut up!" I said, and stared at New Boy again.
