Chapter 2

(Hailey's POV)

I got up at 4:00 am. It was the best day I'd ever have. I got ready by 6:00 (I wanted to look my best) and left with my friend. We were staying in this Marriott near Magcon so it would be a close drive. I couldn't wait.

We got there and the line was really long. We had to wait like 30 minutes to get close. Girls smushed their faces up against glass doors which was pretty funny. I couldn't wait.

It was almost our turn. Makayla, my best friend, and I were next in line. I was so excited, and nervous. She has dark brown hair and brown eyes. She is very tan and it makes me jealous.

I looked up and Taylor Caniff was staring at me. Holy crap he was so hot. Was there something on my face?

It was our turn to meet the first group, Taylor and Cameron. I was so excited my heart was beating out of my chest.

"Hey I'm Hailey." I said to the first group of boys, Taylor and Cam. Makayla was too nervous to talk so I talked for her.

"And this is Makayla," I say and gestured to her. Taylor won't stop looking at me still. Did my make up smudge or something? I'm always really self-conscience.

We were about to leave but Taylor grabbed my hand.

"Hey, after the meet can you stay? Maybe come to my hotel? It's the Marriott down the street. Room 326."

"Yes," I say, "I mean, okay sure. I'll see you then." I smile and he does too.

"Okay I will." He says. Then, he hugged me. Me. I was smiling to my ears. This was the best day ever.

(Taylor's POV)

Hailey. That's her name. It's pretty. I'm glad I finally got to talk to her. Also I am so excited for later. She was so sweet and just amazing, and I hardly know her. I couldn't really think straight. I felt bad, however, because I was talking to many girls being aloft. But a couple hours later, we were done meeting and greeting.

We all went back to the suites and Hailey wasn't there yet, but I didn't worry. She would come.

"Get guys wanna play truth or dare?" Matt said loudly.

"Sure!" We all replied and got in a little circlish area.

"Who wants to go first--". Cameron said, but then a knocking cut him off.

"I'll get it!!" I screamed and popped up.

It was Hailey and her friend.

"Hey, wanna join in on truth or dare?" I asked them.

"Sure." Hailey replied with a smile. She was wearing a purple boat neck and tribal leggings. Hot.

"Okay so Carter, truth or dare?" Matt said.

"Dare." He replied.

"Okay, I dare you to..." Then he whispered.

We couldn't hear him.

"Okay. I'll be right back."

We all were curious. We all just talking. Well actually, I was talking to Hailey.

"Hey, do you wanna sit here?" I asked pointing to my side.

"Okay." She responded, smiling.

"So how are you --"

I was interrupted by a smack cam. To my face. Whipped cream.

"Oh shit.." I said, upset I was all whipped cream covered now. Right in front of Hailey.

"Oh Taylor," Hailey said giggling, "Come on let's go clean you up in the bathroom."

Yes. We could finally be alone.

We got up and went to the bathroom. At the beginning, it was silent, I was just looking at her. She was so pretty.

"Thanks." I said

"No problem." She replied.

"So, how are you?"

"Good you?

"Good."

It got slightly awkward. Crap.

"So um, you are really pretty." I said. Why did I say that?! Ugh.

"Haha thanks, but not really.". She responded blushing.

"I'm serious."

"Well thanks."

"Anytime."

She finished cleaning my face. Our time was over together, well alone at least. We went back to the group to continue playing.

"Taylor, truth or dare?" Carter asked.

"Dare." I responded.

"I dare you to kissed Hailey."

Well that came out of no where. She was blushing bright red. It was really cute.

"I, um, okay."

I leaned in slowly, and she met me half way. It was like sparks flying high. We pulled away a second longer than expected. I then knew, she felt something in that kiss.
