13 years later:
I was on my way to university and my thoughts were for some reason wondering what Shawn was up to. I haven't seen him for 13 years and I don't know what his life is like. I missed him at the start but I don't miss him anymore although I do think about him a lot recently. I don't know why.
When I arrived I went to my appartment to unpack. I live in a big penthouse near central park.
I decided to invite Haily and Zoey (they are my best friends)over to catch up on what's going on and hear all the latest gossip.
-ding , dong, ding-
I jump up excitedly when I hear Zoeys special way of ringing the doorbell.
"Hiyaaa!" says Zoey. If you haven't realised yet she's just a bit crazy.
"How was your trip back?"asks Hailey giving me a hug. She's a bit shyier than Zoey but when you get to know her and she trusts you she can be seriously bonkers.
"It was great but I had no one to talk to 'cause I was sitting alone and had no internet! I say laughing.
"The internet does work here though doesn't it?!"says Zoey with a worried look on her face.
"Yeah, it works great you can relax" I say knowing that Zoey couldn't live without it.
"You sure?" She asks while turning on her phone to check.
"Yeees" I say looking at her phone screen. I'm surprised when I see a picture of a cute guy on it. Zoey has always been into guys but never that much.
"Who's that?" I say looking surprised.
Hailey suddenly starts laughing so hard she can't stop. The worst thing is she has a really contagious laugh and soon the three of us were crying with laughter. When we finally manage to stop laughing I ask again.
"So really who is that? Your boyfriend?"
"I wish" says Zoey all dreamlike.
"He's only Shawn Mendes "says Hailey with a grin.
"Only?!?!"shouts Zoey .
"Is he a singer or something?" "Yeah he's a famous young pop star that was on the billboards and next thing you know Zoey is obessed with him" explains Hailey.
"Well I have never heard of him before"
"He's only recently become famous although I heard somewhere he's been great at music all his life"
