Hello I'm Aubrey.
I'm here to share about my story, which leads off to countless stories of others that live in this world of mine and that shall be told to you. But before the other stories shall be shared to unfold a bigger plot let's start off with me.

I was much different to how I am now when I was younger. The opposite really.
As a ten year old girl I sat in the living room of my house, fiddling with the skirt of my dress which was a soft pink and rimmed with lace. My long blonde hair swished against my face as I looked around the room, seeing how many beer bottles I could count before looking back to the clock on the wall. I had been waiting a while, keen to get away from my home and to the safety of school. When I had finally decided it was time I called out a 'goodbye' and 'love you' to my parents, but as expected, no reply came back.
Brushing the neglect off - I was used to it now - I strode toward and out the door. The cool morning air hit me instantly and brushed against my face pleasantly. Clutching my school bag on my shoulders I walked silently, my steps light against her pavement of the pathway as I looked around, listening to the wind rustle the leaves of trees and the rather lovely conversation of birds. And most of all. The sweet, sweet silence.

This was all rather nice until the further and further along I walked along the pavement, something seemed to become louder.. voices? Shouting voices too. Great just when I thought I had escaped that rubbish for the day.
I kept walking until not too far in front of me I saw a crowd of boys, no older than me.
Curiosity stricken, I kept walking until I had full view of what was happening.

Five rather large and bulky boys were shoving, pointing and shouting horrid things at a boy on the ground who was hugging his legs and hiding his face in his knees, crying and whimpering as the bullies where pelting insults and names at him.
"Look at his eyes!" "Yuck!" "His tears are disturbing!" "What a freak!"

Without even thinking twice I charged over and shoved two of the boys aside and stood in front of the boy they were terrorising.
"Stop! Stop being horrible! Go away!"
I honestly have no idea how I thought that would work, because it definitely didn't.
The boys only raised their untamed eyebrows and laughed.
"Step aside, or are you the freak's new girlfriend?" At this idiotic statement, the bullies chortled. Fuming, I glared up at the brawny boys. "I don't even know him! Now go away! There's nothing wrong with him!" I announced, my ten year old voice shrilly.
The boys only laughed more at my sad attempt to ward them off.
I then went to my final resort and said loudly "If you don't clear off, I shall tell the principle!" Now I know this may make me a tattle tail, but I recognised that they went to my school, or at least I recognised the one with messy blonde hair, horns which were still developing, a long tail, twitchy long ears and lavender skin which was peppered with freckles here and there. At this they raised their eyebrows and looked to each other, grunting and grumbling under their breath before slowly clearing off.

Once they had all gone I turned around and looked down to the boy who was being picked on, who was still hiding his face in his knees and crying softly.
I kneeled down and spoke in the kindest voice I could. "Hello.. are you okay? What happened back there was horrible.."
The whimpering boy only nodded softly, his face still hidden.
I frowned and lightly put my hand on his shoulder "Would you like help getting up? We could walk to school together.." I had never really had any friends then, so I was really hoping he would say yes. But the boy only replied in a weak and shaky voice "Y-You do-don't wanna see.."
"See what?.." I asked confused, my curiosity on why the bullies were saying horrible things returning.
The boy sobbed softly before replying weakly "M-My eyes.. my tears.. i-it'll scare you o-or gross you out.." he whimpered quietly.
"I promise I won't be scared or grossed out.." I cooed softly, my curiosity only eating away at me more.
He seemed to consider or process my promise before he ever so slowly lifted his head.
I was right to be curious.
He looked mostly like a regular boy. Mostly.
He had chocolate Browne skin and black hair, carpeted on his head in tight curls.
He would be a completely normal boy if it weren't for his eyes. His eyes were black. Nothing else but just a deep black. Only to add to the odd sight, dark smudges stained his cheeks and black inky tears dribbled down his cheeks.
At this extraordinary sight, me being my ten year old self couldn't hold back from blurting out "COOL"
At this the boys void eyes widened in shock. "C-Cool?.." he said in a voice with a tone with was a mixture of confusion and surprise.
Not being able to hold back a grin, I nodded quickly "Yes! I've never seen anything like it!" And that was true. I knew there were people in the world of different species and features but I didn't have any friends or any social life at all.
The boy just stared up at me, still shocked until he realised I had my hand offered to him to help him up. He quickly scrambled up off the ground with my help.
"U-Ur thank you" he said, looking to me with a look of surprise which was still on his face but was slowly fading. I smiled to him and nodded "No problem!"
We then stood there, looked at each other and to the side awkwardly as a odd silence lingered.

I then put my hand out to him "I'm Aubrey." I claimed, now determined to have his friendship. He then softly took my hand and shook it gently "I'm Moses." He said, a smile spreading on his face. I softly let go of his hand after shaking it and picked up his bag, which had noticeably been chucked against the ground, and handed it to him before firmly asking "Wanna hang out?"
At this Moses smiled wider and nodded. And then we walked to school together, and sat with each other in school too.
That day I had made one of my very best friends, and little did I know I had already met the second one that day and was going to become friends with them that day, along with someone who heavily influenced my story.
