Hey Tara, so uh technically it's the 20th because its 4 in the morning.. but I have to tell you about this crazy day!
Okay so I'm just gonna start at the beginning if that's cool with you.
I walked over to Ava's at noon and she was still asleep so i had lunch with her parents and we talked about school and sports and I told them all about myself really, and
typically that would be extremely awkward but for some reason her parents make everything so comfortable that it just wasn't.
when Ava was awake we went up to her room and she told me pretty much EVERYTHING about school and the people in it. you know like, stay away from Josh he's a man slut and Kim is a snob and Ashley is a bitch and to stay
away from her boyfriend AJ but she said that with a laugh it was really funny acutely.
Later that night she was planning on taking me to a party, but i don't drink so I didn't really feel like going. she ended up going for a few hours anyway because she was going to meet AJ.
Her leaving really didn't bother me i was probably just going to read the whole time she was gone anyway.
It was around 10:30 when i heard a knock on the door to Ava's room. When I opened the door surprisingly to me I saw Landen. When I saw him i asked why he didn't go to the party, and all he said was I don't drink but my girlfriend does.
He said it with a genuinely sad face like the 'I know she is cheating on me' face. When I ask him if he wanted to talk to me about it, he just walked in and sat down on the Tommy Hilfiger bed spread.
We talked about everything from our fantasy football to my ex who I broke up with because I moved here to him pouring out his heart to me (a complete stranger really) about his girlfriend .
The only advice could give is 'do what will make you the most happy' which i know is lame,but what ever.. its true,
at about 2 in the morning we heard Ava come through the front door and at that sound landen the god kissed my check and said 'thank you Aria' then left in a hurry,
and I just about melted.
When Ava came in her room she told me all about the party and what I was missing out on. However I dont think the headache she will have in the morning will be nearly as fun.
I just don't see how party's like that could be fun.. to me it just sounds like panic attack waiting to happen.
I didn't tell her what I did while she was gone because I don't think she would be too happy with me talking to her brother and giving him life advice when I hardly know him.
but now I feel like I have known Landen for years.
Now I feel like I like him.
