This is for people who are reading about werewolves for the first time:
Mate: A soulmate for werewolves, they will smell lovely and will be a hundred times more beautiful to them. They will feel a pull towards them and when mates touch, they will feel a spark or tingles of electricity. This system was created by the Moon goddess, so the werewolves don't become extinct. Oh yeah, and the Moon goddess basically chooses who becomes your mate
Alpha: The leader of the pack, basically the king, he can do whatever he wants to his pack and still gets respected. They are also 100 times more possessive of their mate then a usual werewolf
Luna: The Alpha's mate, like queen of the pack
Beta: Second in command. Usually keeps the pack running if the alpha is away
