It was a Saturday night in June. Kallie was sitting at her desk, reading a webcomic. She had one ear bud in, and the other one out so she could listen for her mom to call her. Her mom was on a business trip, per usual, and she called Kallie every night to check on her. During one of her favourite parts of the song, she heard some vehicle doors slam. Kallie rushed over to the window that faced the front street and saw a moving truck, and a sky blue car. There was a person bending over into the back door of the car, presumably grabbing their stuff. The figure then came out of the back seat with a backpack, and a sketch book. The boy was about as tall as Kallie, with fluffy chocolate hair. He was wearing a crown of rainbow coloured flowers lopsidedly on his head. 'He's cute...' Kallie thought. The boy looked up at the window and met her eyes. Kallie looked away, but then focused on him again. The boy waved, and Kallie waved back. He went into the house.
