Marcus' POV
"Dad I'm gonna audition for the talent show today, any song ideas?" I asked. "How about "Just A Dream" By Nelly." He suggested. "Ok. Thanks see you later!"
*at school*
"Hey Marcus!" Adam, Bree, and Chase greeted. "Hi, Marcus." Y/N said shyly. "So, we heard you two had a moment." Bree said happily. "Who had a moment with who?!" Leo said walking up not very happy with hearing that Y/N had a moment with someone, but why? "Y/N and Marcus had a moment." Bree said. "N-no we didn't!" Y/N argued. "Please you stared at him for---" Bree started. "UGH! WE DIDN'T HAVE A MOMENT! I DON'T EVEN LIKE HIM THAT WAY, SO WOULD YOU STOP WITH THAT!" Y/N yelled and then covered her mouth looking at me all I could say was. "I-I gotta go...." And then I walked away, pulled out my phone to talk to dad.

Y/N's POV
"Y/N! Why did you say that!" Bree scolded. "I-- because--- UGH!!!" I couldn't take it anymore. "MAYBE IT'S BECAUSE I DON'T WANNA RISK IT AGAIN!" I yelled and stormed off.

Bree's POV
"What does she mean?" I asked. "Bree, you may be her best friend but there are somethings she doesn't want to tell you." Leo said. "What do you--" I asked. "She doesn't wanna get hurt again Bree." Leo said.

Leo's POV
I had to tell them for her sake and theirs. "What do you mean?" Chase asked. "Well, the last relationship she was in......" I trailed off. "Leo?" Bree asked. "She...... She was abused........ So she told me that......... She...... She would NEVER love again EVER. She so scared that is going to happen again." I explained, knowing that Y/N is falling again, I can see it in her eyes. She may not be able to see it, but I can. "Is... Is that the real reason she'd always come home with bruises and black eyes...... Was because of..... E/B/N?" Chase asked.

Marcus' POV
"Dad, we have a problem." I said. "What?" He asked. "She-she doesn't like me in the way we need her to..." I said. "There's gotta be a reason. Figure it out." Dad said and hung up. I sighed and used my super senses to listen to their conversation but before I did that I see Y/N push past me in tears. "That'll have to wait." I said and followed her. She sits on a bench out side the school building crying. "Hey, Y/N..." I say as if I'm hurt by her words from earlier. "Oh... Hey Marcus.... S-sorry about earlier...." She said trailing off. "It's fine. You just cracked under the pressure. But if you don't mine me asking, why did that effect you that much?" I asked honestly wanting to know, and not just for the mission. "Well.... You remember that guy a few weeks ago..." She said. "E/B/N? Yeah why?" I asked. "Well, I had really really liked him..... You could say that I..." She trailed off. "Loved him?" I asked, inwardly cringing when I said the words. "Yeah... That.... But turns out.......... He---- well---- I---" she couldn't get the words out. She broke into tears again. "Y/N.... Did he.....try to do something you weren't ready to do and then when you didn't compile did he.... Hurt you?" I asked fearing the worst. She slowly nods her head, and I hug her. ".... It makes sense now... You're scared to fall in love again..... You're afraid that, THAT will happen again. Aren't you." I ask still hugging her as she mutters. "Uh hu..."

Leo's POV
"Also one other thing..." I said trailing off. "What is it?" Bree asked. "He also tried to....." I said and gave them the 'you know what' look. "HE WHAT?!" Adam yelled. "Wait, you know what he's talking about?" Chase asked. "Yeah he tried to make her..... Do a thing." Adam said not saying another word. "Wait Leo is that why he did those things? Because she wouldn't.... You know.... 'Share a bed' with him?" Bree asked. I nod my head. "We gotta find her." Bree said. We walk outside and find Y/N and Marcus sitting on a bench... HUGGING?! Oh no you don't Marcus. "MARCUS! Let her go!" I yell. He lets go, stands up and backs away from Y/N slightly.

Marcus' POV
I backed away only because I wasn't in the mood to deal with Leo. "No wait Marcus-- never mind..." Y/N said. "What were you doing to her?" Leo asked I was about to speak but Y/N said something first. "He was helping me, Leo. He was telling me that he would never let that happen again, and that IF it were to happen again, that guy would pay." She explained. I would do that, I may be programmed to be evil but that's still not right, she's only 13! "Wait he--- Marcus you would really do that?" Leo asked surprised. "Marcus can I talk to you in private." Leo said. "Ok." I replied. We walked somewhere private and he asked again. "You would really do that for her?" Leo asked. "Yeah. I may not be what according to you would call a 'good guy', but she's 13, no one of that age should be treated that way. And if someone hurts her like that.... I don't know if I'd be able to control myself." I said honestly. "Marcus, I still don't like you that much, but you're better than I thought. But I'm still watching you." Leo said. "Oh I know. And I'm still watching you." I gave him my eyebrow look and we walked back to the group.

Y/N's POV (short)
Marcus and Leo started walking back I instantly ran and hugged Marcus. "Uh... Hi." Marcus said a little shocked. "Sorry..." I replied. "It's ok. Hey, you guys wanna hang out? We can go to your place." Marcus said. "I thought you were gonna do the talent show." I said releasing my grip from the hug. "Nah, my friend needs me more that a stupid talent right now." Marcus said looking at me, and putting his arm around my shoulders, I look away and blush.

Marcus' POV
"Nah, my friend needs me more than a stupid talent show right now." I said looking at Y/N, and putting my arm around her shoulders. Then she looks away. "Let's go hang out at your house. Is that ok?" I asked. "Sure." Chase said. "Alright, I'm gonna go call my dad real quick I'll meet you guys there." I called my dad. "Hey dad. I'm gonna go to their house to hang out." I said. "Why don't you bring them here?!" He said getting a little angry. "Because the thing that Y/N went through is a reason that this mission's completion is going to be postponed. The last guys he so called loved, tried to make her do something she didn't want to, and when she didn't comply he'd hurt her. She needs comfort more than our mission needs completed." I said to the phone. "But Marcus--" I hung up the phone. Walked back to the group and put my arm back around Y/N's shoulders. She needs a friend more than dad needs his mission complete, for an abused soul is more important than a stolen pair of Bionic kids.

Leo's POV
'Leo!' I hear Y/N's voice say in my head. She's using her Telepathy ability. 'What?' I asked. 'Ok, I'm gonna tell you something but you can't tell anyone.' She said. 'What is it?' I asked. 'You know the Bionic hero, Lightning, the one that's been beating Adam, Bree, and Chase to missions?' She asked. 'Yeah. Why?' I replied. 'I'm Lightning.' She said. She left my thoughts all I could think was. Y/N is the Hero who's been saving the world? Y/N is..... Lightning?
