I was in my room siting in my bay window trying writing a song when I heard mom and dad singing a song
D/M:*singing* look back I'm never going to look back......got one shot tick tock blind and it's all gone our time is now
I heard foot steps going upstairs and then my door open it was August and Zoey
Me:hey guys
A: hey teddy
Z:hi teddy
Me:I heard my parents singing a song and it was great
Z: we should ask if we can use their song
Me/A: yeah let's go ask them
We all went downstairs and saw our parents talking about school of rock whatever that is
Me: hey mommy I heard you and daddy singing a song
M: what song
Me: one that goes like *singing* look back I'm never going to look back......got one shot tick tock blink and it's all gone our time is now
M/D: ohh that song it was one of our bands song called "our time is now" remember
MK: yeah I miss our band sometimes
MS: yup school of rock
Me/A: well, we were thinking is ok if use that song for the talent show
M/D: the talent show at your school they still have that talent show
Me/A: yeah?
Then the door bell rings
Me/A: I'll get it
We looked at each other and then we race to the door and open the door it was Leslie, Louis and their parents
Me/A: hey guys come on in
They walked in and closed the door behind themselves.
Skip time to when are practicing
We were practicing the song (👆👆)
When we finish practicing we started thinking about band names
Me/A: what about School of rock
All but me/A: yeah
We ask if it's was ok to use the band they said yeah
