The stage lights bathed the arena in a sea of blue and purple, casting a surreal glow on the crowd. The air was electric, buzzing with anticipation, the kind of excitement that only a "Nocturne" concert could elicit. Soleil stood at the back of the room, far from the front row, her camera hanging loosely around her neck as she surveyed the sea of fans in front of her. She had been to nearly every concert, every recording session, every late-night rehearsal. It wasn't just a family tradition anymore—it was her life, too.

Her brother, "Minho", stood at the center of the stage, his presence commanding the audience's attention. As the lead vocalist of" Nocturne", he was the heart of the band, his voice reverberating through the speakers and sending shivers down the spines of thousands of fans. Minho was always charismatic—charming, larger than life. But tonight, there was something different in his energy, something wild and electric. Maybe it was the thrill of the crowd, or maybe it was because this was their biggest tour yet, but he was in his element.

Beside him, playing the guitar with effortless precision, was "Yoon Jeonghan".

And it was" Jeonghan" who occupied all of Soleil's attention.

As always, he stood slightly apart from the chaos of the stage. Jeonghan was never the spotlight kind of guy—he thrived in the shadows, an enigma wrapped in calm. His long, black hair fell in soft waves around his face, and the guitar he played looked like it was an extension of him, his fingers gliding across the strings with a fluid grace that was almost hypnotic.

Soleil knew she shouldn't be staring, but she couldn't help it. He was... everything. He was beautiful in a way that felt like it shouldn't belong to someone so real—someone who sat across the dinner table from her, someone who she had known for years as her brother's best friend, a part of the family. And yet, in moments like these, as she watched him perform, her heart ached in ways she could never admit, not even to herself.

Jeonghan's eyes shifted briefly from his guitar to the audience, and for a moment, their gazes locked—his gaze soft, almost like a whisper that only she could hear. Soleil's breath caught in her throat, and she quickly turned away, feeling the heat of embarrassment rush to her cheeks. She was no stranger to the unspoken tension between them, but she'd always been good at pretending it wasn't there. She had to be. After all, it was wrong.

It was all wrong.

Jeonghan was a part of her brother's world. A world that she was never fully a part of, but one she had long since accepted. They were like family—more than just bandmates, more than just friends. Minho and Jeonghan had been inseparable since high school, and Soleil had grown up with the two of them, watching their friendship bloom and turn into something bigger than either of them could have ever imagined. She wasn't just an observer of their bond; she was a part of it, too. Or at least, she had to pretend to be.

But there was something about Jeonghan's quiet intensity that pulled at her heart in a way that she couldn't explain, and certainly couldn't control.

She adjusted the lens on her camera, taking a few shots of the band as they continued to play, trying to focus on the music and the crowd. But it was impossible to concentrate with him standing there—his presence always seemed to distort her reality, make everything feel more intense than it should.

After the song ended, the roar of the crowd was deafening, and Minho threw his arm around Jeonghan's shoulders, pulling him close as they shared a quick laugh. Soleil watched, half in awe, half in envy. The two of them were so natural together—so easy. They didn't need to say anything for their bond to be clear. It was as if their friendship spoke for itself, like it had been there forever.
