The Bermuda triangle is one of the most mysterious places on the Earth. Without wasting any more time, let's just get straight to the point. Aeroplanes and ships have vanished in thin air and no debris is found. Planes and ships that enter The Triangle disappear and are not found. One of the most famous incidents of the disappearances is of Flight 19. Five planes disappear in thin air without any clue as to where did they go. No debris was ever found and still we are not sure as to what's the reason behind all this.
Bruce Gernon, who is the co-author of The Fog, has survived the wrath of The Triangle. By his early 20's, Bruce already had about 600 hours flying time and was very familiar with Florida and the Bahamas. However, none of this prepared him for an encounter which over 40 years later still puzzles him. Here's what Bruce said in an interview explaining what had happened...
Bruce Gernon - "I have seen UFO's that may have been associated with the storm I flew through. The first one was only a month after I flew through the storm. We were flying at night about 9:30 PM in February and the weather was CAVU. We were over Miami at 10,000 and headed due east toward Bimini. When we got a few miles offshore we noticed an amber light far to the east of us. Suddenly it came toward us at an incredible speed. It was on a collision course with us and within seconds it was right in front of us. It was bright amber and shaped like a saucer with a diameter of about 300 feet. It was massive and I felt that its mass was of a solid nature and not just a form of light. I banked to the left to avoid a certain collision— when I looked back to see where it was, it had vanished. It may have been an illusion, although we both saw the exact same thing. It is interesting to note that the UFO was on the same flight path that I had travelled when I went through the time tunnel and encountered the electronic fog"It's amazing what happened and almost unbelievable. But what's mind boggling is that when he was travelling on the same course on which Flight 19 travelled almost 25 years ago. The clouds formed strange swirl patterns and traps the plane. According to Bruce Gernon, the tunnel was almost 10 miles long and it should have taken him almost 3 minutes to complete... but it only took 20 seconds! When he got out of the tunnel, he was flying over Miami. It wasn't possible because this meant that he had travelled 100 miles in 3 minutes!! And this also means that he was travelling at the speed of almost 2000 miles per hour, which is no way possible because he could've only travelled up to 200 miles per hour!!! Does this mean that he had travelled through time? Or maybe through a portal or a wormhole?
The Bermuda Triangle has been dominant over the years and it's one of the most controversial topics for the controversial theorists and scientists as well.
I have a few hypothetical theories as to how as well as why. But you should keep in mind that these are all hypothetical situations and theories and therefore please don't be abusive in the comments.
I have three different yet inter-connected theories on the Bermuda Triangle:
1. Portals or Wormholes.
2. Aliens.
3. Atlantis.
Before explaining my theories, I'd like to say that I know many of the readers would be negative and probably would say that this is all bullshit. But I request you to keep an open mind and be open to possibilities. Have a 'Why Not' attitude because where there is Science, there is always a possibility!
