My father finally decided to allow me to meet my "husband" two hours before the wedding. I take a deep breath before I walk into the hut that my husband is currently waiting for me. When I open the door I almost choke when I see the person in the room. It's the trader I collided with yesterday.

I could see her shocked face and for some reason it made me happy to think that I was the one that caused her to react like that. I smirk before saying, "well look what the cat dragged in. I guess you didn't get that good of a peek on me yesterday", I finish with a wide grin on my face. I decide to make myself comfortable and sit on one of the two chairs in the tiny hut.

Quickly her face turns into a frown. Now that reaction doesn't satisfy me. "I should let you know Sweetheart, I don't like it when ladies frown at me" I say and she even frowns more.

I feel like wiping that grin off his face. Getting straight to business I say "You know we only have half an hour to get to know each other and then we are stuck together for the rest of my miserable life. How exciting" , he doesn't seem to get the sarcasm in my voice so I continue ignoring him. 'I don't want to fight with you, heck what am I even saying, I don't even want to marry you", my breath starts to quicken as I feel the fury building up in me. The idea of marrying him makes me want to die and the idea of him touching me makes me want to crawl in my skin.

"Feisty I like that", he says with another grin forming on his face. He thinks this is a game, well I'II show him a game. With a fake evil smile on my face I take two quick strides to where he is seating. Before he can even process the thought of what I'm going to do I push the chair his seating on and kneel on top of him whilst he sits on his back. Well this position looks familiar.

I was shocked that she had the nerve to do what she just did. She is a tiny thing. It's time I cut Mr. Nice Guy and show her who really holds the cards in this relationship. Before she even realizes what I'm doing, I lift her off me and trap her on the wall with my hands on either side of her and my body lifting her off the ground, so that we are the same height. I lean really close to her ear and whisper" Now sweetheart, you might not want to do that again, I'm going to be your husband in a few hours, and you might want to start showing me some respect don't you think so?" she was scared. Good.

Without changing our position I look into her big brown eyes and smile teasingly before saying " First, what's your name, Sweetheart, I would hate not knowing my wife's name", she takes a gulp of air before responding, probably debating on how she is going to answer my question. Finally she responds "Tanya, and you haven't told me your name 'Sweetheart'", i spit out the nickname that he has decided to give me.

“Well That's not a good attitude at all, but I will let it pass, You can call me Nick. If I let you go so we can talk, promise you won't do anything stupid", he responds looking into my eyes, probably trying to figure out my reaction. I mask my face "I make no promises", I say as I keep the eye contact. Surprisingly he releases me and puts a hand through his hair.

"Fair enough", he responds and takes out something form his pocket. A cigarette. I hate cigarettes. I consider smoking as one of the nastiest habit I can ever imagine. I wrinkle my nose making sure he sees me.

He raises one eyebrow at me "Don't like smoking?" Is he some kind of retard or what?. I think I made it clear when I wrinkled my nose. I sigh and say "No, it makes you stink" I say as I take a sit and look up at him expecting him to put up his cigarette, which he doesn't.

"Are you going to sit down or what?” impatiently I say and he gives me a questioning look, which I just brush off.

"Fine" I say whilst finally putting my cigarette back in my pocket and sitting down next to her. i make a show of taking my time. When I look at her, I notice that she doesn't look comfortable at all. That makes me smile. "So what do you want to talk about sweetheart?'

"Well for starters stop calling me sweetheart and how about you tell me the real reason about why you are getting married to me" I say challenging him. He smirks before saying "Well my colleagues and I figured that it would be easier to come and trade with your father and the rest of the Gold coast if we had a personal relationship with one of the kings. Lucky for me you are pretty and worth my time. I wasn't actually expecting the King to give us his own daughter, but hey! It’s a win win situation". Wait... what so that's it?. Out of all the girls father could have given to them he chose me. Somehow I get the feeling that Nick is lying, because there is no way father would have just given me up like that.

"You liar, I know you threatened my father that you would keep on killing our males and raping the female if he didn't let you bastards marry one of his daughters. You forced him. You Dog" with that I and stand up and start to walk to the door. Before I even reach the door he grabs me.

"Well, whatever. The important thing is we are getting married and you can't change that, after all you are just some women and I will be damned if your father even listens to you. We are leaving tomorrow morning after the ceremony is complete, so I hope you packed." I won't let myself cry in front of him. Somehow I know what he said about my father not listening is true. I pull my hand and storm out of the little hut.

I know I was a little harsh. This is not my fault that I am marrying her. The truth is when we tried to come and trade with her village and the Gold coast, they couldn't let us because they thought all of us traders were the same and we just wanted to kidnap the man and woman. When I joined the Jaegers I had to prove myself and the only way I could do so was to get them clients in the Golden Coast. If proving myself meant breaking a few hearts in the way or marrying some village girl so be it.

Where I come from we have to work from scratch for what we have and I believe I'm off to a good start, if you take out the part were I have to marry a village girl that is so full of herself.

Let the wedding begin......
