Mia's POV:
My nerves surge through my veins as I head off the plane into the cold crisp Alaskan air. I take a deep breath and fresh air flows through my lungs, the cold burning them slightly.
With my bags in my hands, I head down to my Uber. My driver puts my bags in the trunk and then starts driving me to my destination.
"We're here." My Uber driver smiles at me, opening my door.
"Thank you." I grin, handing him the money I owe. "I hope you have a good day."
"Thank you, ma'am! I hope you do too."
I head inside and go to the front desk, getting ready to check in. I wait and stand in front of the desk until a lady appears, with a big smile.
"Hello! How may I help you?"
"I need to check into my room."
"Okay, what is your name?" She asks, looking at me intently.
"Martha Keller." I smile, the lie slipping through my teeth like poison.
The lady types a few things and then looks up at me, "Welcome, Ms. Keller! You are all checked in. Your room will be 203."
"Thank you." I smile as she hands me a key with the numbers "203" on it.
Without another word, I grab my things and head up the stairs to floor two. As I get to my room, I put my things down, and unlock my door, entering my new room for the next few days.
As soon as I am all settled in, I grab my laptop and head to a café near the motel I am staying in. When I enter, a wave of emotion hits me as millions of memories seem to play in my mind like a movie.
I try to shake them off as I open my laptop and head onto Google. My fingers hover over the keyboard before I look up something I have been trying to avoid for a long time.
Although I don't know if the memories of Harry and I are valid, they feel just as Zayn and I's did. All I could think was these were the truth, and Harry and I were amazing friends.
Harry Styles Obituary
Harry Edward Styles was loved by many throughout his town of Longdale, Louisiana. At just the age of 18, his life was ripped from his hands. He will forever be missed by his friends and family.
I let out a shaky breath as my eyes skim over his obituary. This is too short for him...he deserves so much more.
Before I can even stop it, my breathing starts becoming heavy and it becomes harder to breathe every waking second. I grab my chest and try to control my breathing, but to no avail.
Suddenly, a hand is placed on my should and I whirl around to see a cute old man in front of me. "Hello dear...are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine..." I tell him, choking on my breath slightly.
"You know, when my wife used to have panic attacks during her bad days, I would always run her a nice hot bubble bath and then go to buy her flowers to make her feel better."
My anxiety lifts instantly and I smile at the old man, "That's very sweet."
"I suggest you go home and have your man run you a bath." The man tells me, nodding his head.
"I-I don't have a man." I laugh nervously.
"Jesus! What is wrong with this world? You are far too beautiful not to have somebody. In my days, you would've been snatched up instantly!"
