Dove's POV

*Bell Rings* Everyone got up to head to the cafeteria. It was only our friends and I who was here in the classroom.

"Dove, maybe you're right. We're just really being paranoid...." Claire said while smiling

I think being paranoid is just really our thing. You know, we want to be safe and stuff. Because obviously, who wants to be in danger?

I noticed Juliet and Jillian were doing something so I checked it out.

"What are you guys doing?" I asked them and they suddenly hid the paper they were writing on...

"Nothing...." Juliet said while Jillian was trying to hold her laughter

"Really guys?" I asked them while raising an eyebrow on them. They just shook their head while holding their laughter

"They're pranking you guys with love letters...." Fiona said while holding up the paper they were writing on

"Tsk tsk, why are you doing it?" Claire asked while crossing her arms as she shook her head jokingly

"Ehhhh......You guys were the first one we tried to prank on....But I guess it didn't work.." Jillian said as she shrugged her shoulders

We went out to get our things in the locker. While I was walking to my locker Kyle, my childhood close friend greeted me with a hug which suprised me. I felt heat going up to my face. Snap out of it Dove! He's just hugging you as a friendly act. This is not romantic or anything! Dammit!

"What's up Dove?" Kyle said while smiling which made me have butterflies in my stomach...Aish....

He wrapped his arm around my shoulders and made me more blush and nervous....

"Uhm..I-I'm fi--" I was cut off by these two girls behind me who were shouting.

"HEY DOVE?!!! WHO IS THAT?!!" Jane said, scratch that! Jane shouted while running which made Kyle remove his arm around my shoulders and drop to his sides.

"Ughhh...Jane!!! Wait up!!! I'm already losing my breath!!" Ally shouted while running. I sighed. These girls! And that's the time, I realized that I f*cked up.......

They finally caught up to me. Jane was crossing her arms and Ally was giving Kyle her death glare.

"Okay uhm, I gotta go I guess...." Kyle said while scratching his nape..He smiled at me signaling that he's going to leave. I smiled back at him.

He finally left and Jane planted a grin on her face while Ally was raising her eyebrow telling me to explain.

"Guys...He's just a friend and nothing more..." I tried to explain but Jane is still feeling giddy and Ally is giving me the look when she teases someone.

"You know what guys, let's just go get our things in the locker." I said. If they only knew......

Classes were done but I still have to wait for my fetcher. I was with my best friends; Claire, Ally, and Jane.

We were taking a walk around the school until we reached the court.

"Oh my gosh Claire, I forgot to tell you this. Awhile ago, Kyle and Dove were together and Kyle had his arms wrapped around Dove." Jane said and Ally was teasing me. Dammit! They were teasing me again. And that surely made me go gaga and blushing again!

"You know what guys, I'm sure that he doesn't have the romantic feelings for me." I told them. I mean, it's true. We're only best friends, and it's going to stay that way.

"How are you so sure? Maybe he likes you!! Or better, maybe he's in love with you!!" Claire said while giggling. I'm hundred percent sure that's definitely not true!

"Well you know what guys, let's go to the library to do our assignment. I'm pretty sure the others are there already." I told them. And they nodded their heads in agreement.

We were about to get our bags until we found a piece of paper behind a bag. We decided to check it and found that it was a note.

The note said:

"What the heck!??!" I screamed. We were all looking at each other confused of who this person is and who he/she is referring to. "Who's D.W?" Claire asked. And then suddenly Ally gasped. She blurted out, "Those are your initials Dove!!" We all thought of it in shock. Who could have written this letter? Is it true that it's my initials? But wait... it doesn't necessarily have to be ME the person's talking about right? I mean there could be other people with the same initials, right? RIGHT??

"Guys, are you sure it's my initials? I mean there could be other students in this school that could have the same initials..."I told them. Jane said, "Yeah, I mean out of all the students in this school, there could be other people with the same initials." "I know! I can try to sneak into the principals office, get the student record files then search for names that could have the same initials!" Claire exclaimed. We all had second thoughts about this plan but it was the only way we could know if it's my initials or not.

"MOM, I'M HOME!!!" I screamed. My mom quickly replied back and told me to rest for a while then get ready to go back down after 3 hours for dinner.

(3 hours later...)

My family was sitting around the table eating fish that my mom cooked. We were quiet the whole time. I really wanted to say something but I just couldn't find the courage to open my mouth and speak up. We ended up not talking to each other until we finished. A few moments later, I was getting ready to go to bed as my mom and dad kisses me goodnight. I quickly fell asleep but before that I was praying for this whole note thing to be a dream and for the initials not to be mine. I sighed. "What a very hectic day!" I told myself.
