today my baby girl is turning 16 and we secretly organized her a sweet sixteen party! I only have one daughter and that's Anna, and I wanted her to have the best experience of being a teen.

I am on my way to our local party shop to get some helium balloons because she loves to breathe it in at the end of party's. we drove a while untill I noticed that we were low on gas.

'honey we should stop at the gas station so we don't have to worry about it tommorrow' I said to Ryan.

He agreed so I took the fastest route so we didn't have to let Anna worry.

Suddenly out of the blue a different car crashes into us from the front. I look at Ryan with a lingering longing expression as I shield my head from as many glass shards as I can. You can hear him screaming and somewhere that sounds so far away I can hear someone yelling to call the ambulance while others are crying because of the shock. I look at Ryan lovingly until I know that the ambulance is to late. You can't even hear the sirens yet wich is bizare but maybe I have become deaf and there is hope of survival. I start seeing black dots blocking my vision and they're rapidly starting to grow. I take one last look at my husband and then the entire world is gone.

ANNA's pov.

Today I'm turning 16!

I know that my mom would go all out because she kept saying stories about her sweet sixteen and how amazing it was. I woke up and there they stood with my favorite cake: homemade chocolate cake with lots of vanilla icing and chocolate pieces on top. they sung the happy birthday song and let me tell you something, my mom has the most amazing voice I've ever heard. I used to get singing lessons from her which really payed off. At my old school I was in the choir but it wasn't just like church stuff but we also got to do pop songs and stuff. I got lots of solo's and I loved it. We just moved four days ago on thursday, tommorrow is my first day at my new school. I'll probably audition for the chior again.

After a while my parents say that they need to go get something and I was fine with that. I wasn't going to stop them from doing anything they wanted. I went over to my room because I had gotten a manicure set because I really wanted to take more care of my nails because I wanted to be able to paint them correctly. I guess I have quite stady hands so it's easy to paint them proffesional, the only problem is that when I get extremely nervous or bored I start to pick at them and then they break. whoops... I went to put on my topcoat on my nails wich I painted white with roses on them. I was pretty happy with them. Suddenly the doorbell rang which was weird because my parents always bring keys with them. Maybe they just forgot them. I ran downstairs because I always get irretated when I have to wait for someone to open the door. We had windows  in our door that we could see who was there but they where made in a way that you could only see through one side so the person outside can't see in our house. I was extremely surprised when I saw a police officer by ny front door looking nervously sad.

I opened the door and said: 'hi is there anything I can help you with? my parents aren't home yet but they'll be here in a couple of minutes, I could give you some te..'

'Miss you might want to sit down for this.' he says dead serious.

I become scared and nervous when I lead him to our living room.

'your parents have died today in a car accident. To many cars where blocking the path wich led on to that the ambulance couldn't reach them in time and they lost to much blood.' He says looking at me in sympathy.

I can't coprehent what happens and soon I lose consiousness.

hello unicorns!!!!

I have finally started this book again! I really hope to make this a meaningful book and that it really hits you with the reality of it and that it isn't just a book.

the part where the officer says that the cars blocked the way, is what can really cause a death o happen. My dad acually talked to m about this a couple of weeks ago when I heard an ambulance and asked what whould happen if therre was lots of traffic and the cars stood still and he explained that everyone has a part in it and that once everyone moves to the side at the same time it can work and the ambulance can save someone so please don't freak out if you're in one of those situations and just make sure that you make place.
