THE TITANS WAKE

I've been away from Wattpad for about 10 years and have now returned as a better writer. What I'm hoping to achieve next is to become a better story teller. This is why I seek the critical eye of my peers on Wattpad.

I originally published here a sample that existed as the very bare bones of a story. The first draft (unfinished, as it was) recieved some promising praise from a literary agent that stated, "it is not enough to be good, you have to be special."

Ten years on, The Titans Wake, now exists as part 1 of the SKY STONE saga. It is an enormous world dripping in lore, a web where every string is its own destiny.

Revised and polished, these bones have a healthy layer of meat upon them now. But a creator will always be so close to their work that it can sometimes be hard to see the fat upon the muscle.

So I, humbly, ask that any readers that should stumble upon my work, please do give feedback. I'm in search of my first critics before my first fans. I need readers who can help shape a book into a story.

I have predominantly been commended on my prose, descriptive and poetic, but is it a voice? Pacing, the difference between showing off and showing up. Are fantasy readers still lusting for the long read, or should books just be TikTok on paper?

I hope that Chapter 1 can set the fuse fizzing. Please let me know if it gives you a craving for Chapter 2. The book is written, and until I start querying I can supply the rest of the manuscript to drool over if it's wanted. Help me make this not good, but special.
