It is a bright, warm day in Castele, just like it was every day, ever since the Hero of Reveria saved the land from catastrophe. Sunlight is shining through your window as you lay in a light slumber in your bed. Fluttering just above your nose is the sparkling yellow butterfly, Flutter, or as she revealed to you in the past, Yuelia, quite literally the daughter of God.
"(y/n), wake up." She softly whispered as she landed next to your ear. "Come on, you need to run some errands for Pam. She won't be happy if you sleep all day, lazybones!" It became evident that Yuelua was becoming quite annoyed with you, so she raised her voice a little.
"(y/n), you can't sleep all day! You need to get out and do something. Be useful!" At this point, Yuelua's patience had ran out, so she climbed as close to your ear as she dared, and...
"*Ahem* (Y/N) IF YOU DO NOT WAKE UP THIS INSTANT, I WILL HAVE THE NAPDRAGON BURN YOUR FACE OFF! GET. UP."
Needless to say, this was enough of a wake up call. You jerk your head up so fast that you almost knock Yuelua across the room, and awkwardly tumble out of bed, landing in an uncomfortable position. You hear the sound of Yuelia changing back into her human form, and she helps you back onto your feet.
"You know, this wouldn't be such a problem if you just woke up in the morning" You try to explain why her logic is flawed, but she completely ignores you and walks outside.
Over the year that had passed since you stopped the world from ending, Yuelia had grown more comfortable around you and had opened up a little. Her sister, Noelia, didn't visit at all, as is to be expected, but every now and again, it felt like her presence was drifting past you, never making contact, but suspiciously close by. Yuelia had learned how to use telepathy to contact her father, a skill which drained her energy, but stopped her from feeling homesick.
After getting dressed and eating breakfast, you and Yuelia head outside, and go to the stables to rent a horse (you never got enough bliss points to get a permanent one).
"Alright, Pam wanted us to head out to the West Grassy Plains to grab some cabbages from the farm there. She also wanted us to get a large egg and some mustard. Doesn't sound very appetising, huh?" Yuelia read from a list in her hand, but cringed at the mere mention of mustard.
You make a motion towards the horse as a prompt that they should get going, regardless of Yuelia's disgust towards mustard. Yuelia charges back into a butterfly as you hop onto the horse, pay the 50 Dosh rent, and gallop away.
*Notes: Fantasy life is a game that nobody really paid attention to, even on the day of its release. It's criminally underrated and, by RPG standards, has one of the best set of characters I've seen, each with their own unique personality and ambitions. I recommend you give it a shot, even if you aren't a huge fan of RPG games.*
