As you ride back from the West Grassy Plains with a few cabbages in hand, your horse suddenly stops, almost throwing you off the front of it. You try to convince the horse to ride on, but it won't budge. As you get off, Yuelia flies off of your neck and transforms.
"What happened, (y/n)? Why did he stop?" You shrug, but suddenly hear an ominous voice appear from above...
"Aww, what's the matter horsey?" Suddenly, Noelia drops in front of the horse, scaring the hell out of you and Yuelia, but the horse freezes in place. "Butterfly caught your tongue?" And with that, the horse sprints off in the direction of the stables. Noelia giggles as she turns to Yuelia, who is still too shocked by the appearance of her sister to talk.
After another few moments of staring at each other, Noelia breaks the silence by saying: "Well, aren't you happy to see me?" It was clear by Yuelia's facial expression that she was feeling a mixture of shock, anger, joy and confusion, which all just ended up with her overloading her brain and bursting into tears.
"Noelia!? What are you... how are you... why are you here!?" Yuelia launches herself at her sister, wrapping her arms around her.
"Obviously, I'm here to see my sister. Why else?"
After a few more seconds of hugging, Noelia is released from her sister's grip, and catches you in her eye. For a moment, she seems surprised, but immediately regains her mischievous expression, and walks over to you.
"And who might this be... wait, (y/n), is that you!? I almost didn't recognise you!" She puts her arm on your shoulder and says: "So, what have you and my sister been getting up to while I've been away, hmm?" She winks at you, and you can feel the blood rush to your cheeks before Yuelia quickly places herself between the two of you. "S-stop asking dumb questions, Noelia"
"What's wrong, sis? Did I strike a nerve or something?" You watch as a smirk slides its way onto Noelia's face.
"You had better be careful with what you say. You don't want me telling father that you being a nuisance, do you?" You see Noelia puff out her cheeks in protest.
"Ugh, you're no fun. Lighten up a little, will ya? You haven't seen me in a year and this is how you treat me? Some sister you are!" She turns her back in mock anger, but lets out a soft chuckle.
"Well, we had better go and explain to Pam why we now have another mouth to feed" Yuelia states in an almost upset tone.
"Hey, you and I both know that we don't have to eat food to live!"
"Yeah, but you probably will anyway" Noelia thinks for a moment, then just shrugs. The two of them turn into butterflies, one on each shoulder (~~~ooh foreshadowing kinda~~~) as you make the long trek back home.
*Notes: For those of you who haven't played the game (you're missing out), Noelia stayed with her father, who is basically God, up in this place where they could watch over all of the universes. Yuelia wanted to stay with you, in Reveria, but Noelia opted against it. She's back in Reveria now, and... yeah. That's cool I guess :P*
