I'll Train Her

All the superiors watched from the window of their meeting room at all the cadets training, and their eyes fell on someone in particular. Her h/c hair was flowing in the wind while she struggled to keep up with her fellow comrades. She had on a f/c sports bra with s/f/c athletic pants, her abs in plain sight, whatever trace of abs she had at least. She went through three years of training, and had hardly anything to show for it?

"Cadet, L/N," Commander Erwin sighed heavily, "she's became a liability to us." None of the other squad leaders or captains present disagreed with that, not even cheerful ole Hange. "She can't keep up with her comrades. How would she ever survive an expedition? I say we clip her wings, and hand her over to the field. Surprisingly," there was sarcasm dripping off the Commander's voice, "she didn't make a high enough score to be with the Military Police, and I don't think she could even handle the Garrison."

"It's a wonder she even graduated training," one of the more snobbish squad leaders commented.

"Tch," a voice from the back piped up. It turned out that that voice belonged to Levi Ackerman. He had caught everyone's attention, and all eyes were on him. "I'll train her." The smart ass squad leader scoffed.

"Train her?" He laughed dryly. "There's no training her. She's so weak she'll end up as Titan chow on the very first expedition, probably as soon as we leave the gate even." Levi's eyebrow twitched slightly in annoyance, though not noticeable to people in the room.
"What makes you think you can train her?" Erwin asked curiously.

"I'll break her," the short captain began, "then I'll remold her from scratch. Plain and simple." Levi had his arms crossed over his chest, and one leg over the other.

"I think shorty should do it, Commander," District Commander Hange spoke up, "I'd hate to see that girl get kicked out. She has such a huge fire in her. I've never seen so much determination before."

"Determination doesn't always equal capable," Mike voiced. The Commander sighed before turning his attention back to Levi, his blue eyes all seriousness.

"Alright, Levi," he began, "I will allow you to train her, but she's your responsibility now. What are you going to do?" The raven haired captain tapped his foot impatiently.

"I'm going to add her to my squad," he stated in his stoic voice, "that way, no one would get suspicious. They would just think that I'm giving one of my soldiers a little extra training."

"Very well," the blonde haired man finalized, ending the meeting.

Y/N's POV

I had my hands on my knees, desperately trying to get air into my oxygen deprived lungs. No one seemed to be concerned about my struggle because they probably just thought I was out of shape. That wasn't true at all. Well, it was, to some extent. However, the real reason for the trouble breathing and the tightness in my chest was because of asthma. I've had it ever since I was a little girl. It used to be really severe when I was a kid, but now it's somewhat more tolerable. After my breathing had become a little more manageable, I stood upright, still occasionally coughing.

"Hey, brat," a voice called out to me. Who's talking to me? No one wants to talk to the "weakling". I turned around to face the entrance of HQ to see Captain Levi Ackerman standing there with his usual stoic face with a hint of irritation in them. I was confused for a second before I saluted him the best I could, given I was still exhausted. "At ease," he told me, and I dropped my arms to my side.

"What is it, captain?" I was still kind of breathless from all the training when I spoke to him.

"Congratulations, you're a member of my squad as of today." He told me, and I could've sworn that my e/c eyes were as big as saucers at the amount of surprise I was feeling. WHAAAT?!
