After cleaning the HQ, I was so tired I could hardly even stand up. Lying my head down on the table of the dining hall, I heard footsteps coming. Please, don't be Levi. I pleaded to the walls.
"Who's this?" A girl's voice asked in confusion.
"Hey, this is where we have our meals," a man's somewhat angry voice was heard.
"She's not a member of our squad, is she?" Another man questioned in curiosity.
"The captain did say we're getting a new member," someone else replied.
"She must be it, then," the girl stated before walking over towards me. I lifted my head up to look at her. The young woman's hair was blonde, and she had kind brown eyes. Then, my tired eyes wondered over to the rest of them. There was an older man that looked kind of angry. His short hair was soft brown in color and was kind of curly. Then, there was a guy with blonde hair. He had it tied up in a bun. Lastly, I saw a man with black looking hair that spiked up on his head.
"She looks like shit," the one with black hair commented. I was too tired to think of a decent comeback.
"Gunther," the blonde girl scolded him. She held her hand out for me to shake. "Hi, I'm Petra." Weakly raising my hand to shake hers, I introduced myself.
"You've been training with Levi, haven't you?" The blonde guy asked me to which I nodded my head.
We talked a little, and things were going great until he showed up. That short bastard.
"Y/N," he called my name out of irritation. Great. I must have missed a spot. "Get back to cleaning. I want it spotless this time, is that understood?" Wordlessly, I got up to do it, too tired to argue. Besides, it would be bad for two reasons. One, he's my superior, and two, he's training me so the least I could do would be to do everything he said. As soon as I got up, I felt the world spinning.
"Sir," I said weakly, "I don't feel okay." With that, I fell. Well, at least I thought I did. I felt someone's hands on my shoulders. Then, I heard an annoyed voice say to get me to my room. I felt my body being lifted before completely losing consciousness.
