I ran down the slippery sidewalk as fast as I could. I glanced over my shoulder and saw the man in black still chasing me, he was at least fifteen feet behind me. I looked forward again and turned a corner, still running. I knew I hadn't lost him, after all, I turned a CORNER.

Where could I go? I couldn't go home, that's where he found me in the first place, it would be too dangerous for me to go back there.

Where could I possibly go that would be safe from him?

I began running past an alley when somebody quickly wrapped and arm around my waist and pulled me into the alley, completely lifting me off the ground.

I began to scream, whoever had captured me covered my mouth with his hand as I was dragged into the alley even further.

The man in black that was chasing me stopped in front of the entrance to the alley, saw me, and started charging towards me.

My captor flung me behind him and I fell onto the ground.

When the man in black came closer, my captor took out a golden walking stick with a dangerous looking tip to it and a blue sphere in the middle out of nowhere and swung it at the man's legs. The impact tripped the man in black and he fell on the cracked wet pavement.

Suddenly, two more men in black jumped down from a fire-exit staircase above and attacked my captor.

I stood up from the ground and looked over my shoulder at the other end of the alley.

"Run!" I heard my captor yell.

I ran to the end of the alley and looked both sides, but realized it was a dead end.

I looked back and saw only one more man was fighting my captor, the other two still lay on the ground, not moving.

Somebody jumped down from above and grabbed me by the waist, it was another man in black.

"No!" I screamed as the man started dragging me to a dumpster. He shoved it to the side with one arm with little effort, reavealing an opening to the wall.

How did he do that? I wondered, but I didn't have time to think about it because the man in black started dragging me towards it, about to go through the opening.

"No!" I screamed again. "Let me go! Let me go!"

I knew my words were useless, but it would tell the man who had captured me earlier that I was in even more trouble than I was to begin with.

I saw my captor finally finish off the last man in black. He looked in my direction and started running towards me. The man currently holding me dragged me through the opening into another alley.

The man in black had barely dragged me from the opening in the wall when the man with the golden cane/walking stick-thing caught up to us and attacked the man holding me. I was thrown to the other side of the alley, slamming into the wall and falling to the ground again.

I got a better look at the golden thing the man was holding and realized it was a scepter.

I looked away for a second at the street and then looked back. I saw the man in black on the ground.

The man with the scepter (who had shoulder-length dark hair and was wearing a black suit, overcoat and green scarf) walked towards me, the rain decreased to a light drizzle.

"Come." He said with a British accent, offering me a hand. He didn't wait for me to take it, he pulled me up and ran back into the other alley.

"Who are you?" I asked as we were running to the street.

"My name's Loki, I'm from Asgard."

"Where?"

"Asgard, I take it that you haven't heard of it."

I slipped my hand away from his and stopped. He turned to face me. "What's going on?" I asked. "I'm not going anywhere with you."

"Those people were chasing you, do you know why?"

"No."

"Well I do, now come on if you want to live."

He didn't wait for me to answer either, he took my hand again and began to run. We ran passed the men in black, still laid on the ground, they weren't moving.

"Wait-are they dead?" I asked.

"Yes, now come on!"

"You killed them?!"

"Who else would have? There's no one else around Lilliana, think about it!"

"How do you know my name?"

"I'll tell you when we get to Asgard."

"We're going there?"

"Of course we are. Come on, more of them will find us."

"There's more of them?"

"Yes, they've been searching all over the city for you."

Three men in black attacked us out of nowhere, mainly attacking the man named Loki, he let go of my hand.

"Run!" Loki yelled to me.

I ran again, this time out of the alley onto the street. I didn't go far when a man in black jumped from above.

The man in black attacked me and I kicked him as hard as I could in knee. He fell and I started running again. I didn't go far when I was attacked AGAIN by yet ANOTHER man in black.

I didn't have time to do anything, the man stabbed a syringe into my neck and injected something. I immediately felt incredibly weak and I crumpled to the wet ground when he took the syringe out of my neck.

"Lilliana!" I heard Loki's voice. Then I saw Loki attack the man in black. The man in black fell to the ground soon and Loki knelt down right beside me. "It's going to be okay, just hold on." He said, my vision started to get blurry. "Hold on Lilliana, stay with me, just hold on."

That was the last thing I heard before I lost consciousness.

3rd Person P.O.V.

Lilliana lost complete consciousness and Loki realized it. He made his scepter disappear into thin air and slid one arm underneath her back right by her neck and one arm underneath her knees. He gently picked her up as he stood up straight and quickly walked past the alley he had just come out of.

He hadn't gone far when he came to a dark brown door with 35 written in brass, placed above the peephole in the door.

He nudged the barely-closed door open and walked in, closing it again by giving it a slight kick with his foot. The light flicked on by itself in the small apartment and he laid her down on the couch at the other end of the small room. Loki walked back over to the door and bolted it shut.

He picked her up again just the way he had before and the looked up to the ceiling.

"Any time now Heimdall." He said.

A second later he and Lilliana disappeared in a flash of blinding light.
