Shadow POVs

I saw the little hedgehog sleeping under me. 'why do I care about me so much' I thought. I saw Sonic getting up I ran behind a brush, I wanted to try a trick on him to see if he cares about me.

Sonic: (yawn) Hey where's Shadow
'I hope Kevin and the gang didn't take him while I was asleep' Shadow, Shadow, where are you. I don't want the gang to come back and attack me.

I heard Sonic cry out for me guess he needs me or something. I jumped out the bushes and pounce on Sonic. (I hope I spelled that right LOL) Sonic started to cry a little.

Shadow: No Sonic please don't cry

Sonic: YOU scared me(continue crying)

Shadow: well I'm sorry

Sonic: what did say

Shadow: I'm sorry

Sonic POVs

Shadow: I'm sorry

I never thought Shadow would say that, maybe he does care about me, and I think I care about too.

Sonic: it's okay

Shadow: why did those people want you

I don't really know if I should tell Shadow or not, he might go and start attacking people.

Sonic: I don't know 'dang it why couldn't I just tell the truth'

Shadow: Can I ask you something Sonic

Sonic: yeah shoot

Shadow: are you still afraid of me

Sonic: I guess not because you saved me and you haven't eaten me when I ran away and I care about you.

Shadow: I feel the same way and now I'm going to ask you again WHY DID THOSE PEOPLE WANT YOU.

Sonic: I told you I don't know

Shadow: Sonic don't lie to me and just tell me

Sonic: (sigh) fine. I was an experiment and they gave me lots of shots until I escape, then I ran into this alley. That's when I found that gang they would always force me to steal and if I don't as they say they will rape me.

Shadow: WHAT!!!!

Sonic: don't get to upset I'm ok

Shadow: NO IT'S NOT OK. SO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT RAPE IS

Sonic: n-no which is why I did what they said I didn't want to find out, it's actually how I felt when I first met you.

Shadow: what do you mean

Sonic: you threaten to eat me if I didn't do what you say.

Shadow: I'm sorry I....

Sonic: and I bet you still want to eat me don't you😢😔(Sonic faces)

Shadow: No I don't I care about you

Sonic: I care about you too but I'm still afraid of you Shadow

Shadow: why 😯

Sonic: because you still yell at me 😟

He's right I need to control my anger but yet he's still afraid of me.

Shadow: ok well let's go back to the cave alright

Sonic: ok
