It was nearly yours and Brendon's 3rd anniversary, and you wanted to surprise him. You came up with a plan to pretend that you'd forgotten it was your 3rd anniversary, and see how he reacted. Then you'd tell him that you were joking and give him the tickets you had booked for a weekend away in Rome.
The day of your 3rd anniversary had arrived, and when you woke up, Beebo had already gone off to work. When it was your 1st and 2nd anniversary, Brendon had left a note and flowers on the bedside table saying that he was at work and that he had prepared something for that evening, but today he hasnt left anything. You thought it was a bit strange but brushed it off and went downstairs to prepare breakfast.
Later that evening, when your husband had come home and you were both eating your home-made pasta bolognese, Brendon asked you something, "honey, you do know what today is right?"
You looked at him with an innocent expression. "Erm..no? I don't think so.." you laughed to yourself. This is when your husband would get worried and then you could bring out your surprise.
"Oh, its a really important day to me. I'm kinda offended you haven't remembered.." he sighed.
Bingo. He definitely thinks you've forgotten the anniversary. "I'm sorry love, remind me what today is" you smiled.
"Its the day my new album is released"
You stopped smiling. "Oh...lovely B. I'm really happy for you..." you replied sadly. Maybe he had genuinely your anniversary. You tidied the plates up and both of you went to the sitting room to watch TV for a bit. Half way through watching Corrie, Brendon ran upstairs, saying he had to do something quickly. You took this as a chance to get the tickets to Rome from the kitchen to surprise him when he came down. When he arrived back in the sitting room, you could tell he was very excited about something. "Hey Y/N, i have a present for you." he grinned. "Close your eyes" you closed your eyes and he put something in your hand. When you opened your eyes again, you saw two tickets to go to Paris for the weekend. "Omg Brendon! This is amazing! I also have something for you!" You laughed and handed him the tickets to Rome. You watched his face light up, then he frowned. "Er...Y/N? This is lovely and all, but both trips are booked for the same weekend.."
