Tom supentor woke up one day in his apartment and heard sirens and screaming. He looked out his window and saw nothing out of place, that's just what he thought. He hoped it was a prank. He had a few ideas on what was going on which was a protest, parade, kids playing or a football game.
He went out his apartment, grabbed his bag and bike and went to Asda. He realised when he arrived the shelves were empty and the shop was abandoned. He heard someone come up to him. The person said,
"Hi there, im Celia McCoy and im here to tell you that you are in great danger..."
"How what happened?" Tom interrupted.
"You have been gifted with an anti-nuclear shelter due to reports of a nuclear attack." Said Celia
"Great" Tom muttered,"When will it arrive?"
She said "my workers are building it at your house, Goodbye"
He arrived home at 1:00am because he went to the other side of Scotland for food. He passed out on his doormat and when he woke up, people were being evacuated. He watched for five minutes and then the nuclear sirens sounded. He got into his shelter and it got so warm he passed out.
He woke up under bones and stood up. He went outside and everything was gone. He packed his possesions and got the bike he took to the shelter with him and it survived. He went to the newspaper shop that had survived and got a newspaper and it said
'May 4th 2018' and said that a bomb went off. Attached to the article was a picture of a mushroom cloud. He checked his watch and it said June 28th 2104 so he had been asleep for about 900 years. He was worried and so he started to search for survivors.
He soon realized that he was a lone survivor and that everything was dead or radiated. He was scared and unsure on what to do.
